Dumpster water Catfish?

This is one of the major reasons I CPR all the fish I catch! Pollution! In this super short video I show how wide open my local garbage dump is and where the dumpster water flows. This is only a tiny fraction of what goes into our waterways. I even made an entire series of what was spilled into one small river near me and it was mind blowing. You can’t even imagine what is being dumped into a bigger river going through an industrial area! Until we find better ways to not pollute I would highly suggest letting the big ones go and eat what you catch in moderation!

As seen in the other comment here its only a drop in the bucket of what else is entering our waterways. I preach the release of big Catfish for more than one reason!

I am from the PNW and while I hate most of the politics up there they at least make an effort to try and keep water pollution down. Since being in Alabama I am shocked at what is allowed to be flushed into streams feeding the Tennessee River. I have lost track of how many contractors I have turned in for violating 30 year old NPDES regulations, its like the local EPA office doesn't even care. Almost ANY jobsite or industry with runoff that you drive by down here is openly violating multiple regulations EVERY DAY.

There used to be an EPA report of what was dumped into the Tennessee River. Things like "300 gallons of unknown substance" showed up quite a bit. That report disappeared when their website was revamped years ago. Its crazy what was release and what is still being released.
