My heart goes out to this poor mom and her son! I absolutely agree that mentally and emotionally, those scars will sadly never heal. Most prisoners hate rapists and usually do “make them pay” and do to them what they’ve done to their victims. Unfortunately, that isn’t enough justice for what this mom and son had to endure. 1. These kids have real problems. They have no idea what being a man is about...they had no respect for women...they are so young you hope they can change BUT...I wouldn’t want them as neighbors. They picked her cause she was alone. She is was an immigrant and she was scared. Another woman in the hood would call there people...she has no one here to protect her...or her son.

During the trial the defense attorneys repeatedly tried to shift blame to the victims, discredit the victims and torment the victims with questions designed not to elicit the truth but to get them to give up. Its a shame when criminals have more rights than victims do. Only in a court room is it legal for the prosecutor, the defense attorney and the judge to be members of the same club, the bar assoc. If that isnt a system begging to be abused I cant think of a better one.
