I think she meant seriously. In my eyes, it seemed that Gwen was looking for an easy relationship in which there wouldn't be any drama or conflict. She and Duncan are like the boy/girl versions of each other, so they got along really well and didn't have any dynamic, good or bad. Honestly, Gwen was an AWESOME character in Total Drama Island, she was my 2nd favorite following after LeShawna. Then, in Action, she was alright, 3rd favorite, Courtney was first, and still is (Courtney’s a QUEEN) but, I hated her in world tour. Ughhh I looved these 2 together so much but I have to admit Courtney should’ve treated Duncan better with the whole amendments to change his whole personality. They were kinda toxic near the end but it just hurts to see my ship go down

I didn't watch the first six seasons when I was a kid. But when I did go back to watch the first ones, I kind of wish I did. Duncan and Courtney really are a great couple. Wish the writers didn't have to kill it off. Maybe they only did that to end off the OG saga or something. DxC forever!
