Wow, Dunc's shot was really slow back then. He put that work in and now his release is a thing of beauty. Good job on telling the future.
@TheHoopsDoctor12 жыл бұрын
Maybe he values his education more and feels as if he would still be able to compete at a high level, considering the fact that the school he committed to is one of the top D3 schools in the country. I guess it was just the best fit for him individually and he seems to be looking at the big picture in terms of setting up a strong foundation for his life. He most likely does not let basketball define him. The ball will stop bouncing one day and he will have a pretty solid education to rely on.

He probably has dreams of playing professionally in the NBA or overseas just like any other kid playing basketball, and that can still happen with his skill level and when it continues to improve over the years, but everyone has their own path and he probably feels this is best for him, in comparison to the other schools that were interested in him. It said that he's an exceptional student, those schools probably didn't have the strong educational background that the school that he chose does.

It also could be a situation in which he wants immediate playing time and that would be guaranteed at the school that he chose, not to say it wouldn't be the same at at D1 or D2 school, but it could just be another reason why,
