Construction workers "work"? They just stand around all day drtinking soda and blocking traffic, machines do all the work fo rthem
@cobrazoid
@cobrazoid 9 күн бұрын
@@Tom-hr1cmYour argument is so ignorant. You are saying construction workers don’t “work” because of machinery they operate instead of by hand. I have read your last other comment said that mail man work “harder”. I can say the same about mail man that they don’t “work” because they drive a mail truck instead of walking on foot because they can drive from point A to point B less than 40 minutes compared to walking. Your argument is just stupid. And besides, construction workers don’t block traffic all day, do you want to have better road conditions while driving or not? So that is why they block temporary. And plus, you are living inside a house built by construction workers, why not you just go live outside then if that is what makes you happy.

And but to consider he went up against someone who dedicates his life to that and as big as he was while the construction worker lifts as a hobby, it’s wild. Imagine if the CW did it as a job and passion instead of splitting his time working then working out.

I loved this video for a few reasons….I’m a woman who definitely identifies with both of these type of men. I grew up in a very athletic household. My dad has his own construction company and I’ve always been so inspired by his amazing strength, he actually taught all of us (My mom, my big brother, big sister, me & my little sister) many things about the industry from going to work plenty of times with him. In the other hand, I also grew up dancing, playing sports, and working out consistently for 7 years now. So I do appreciate both kind of worlds. But if I’m honest, I was pretty confident that constructions workers were going to win this one. Great job to all the men involved in this video 👏🏼

Some blue collar workers are unbelievably strong. I'm an engineer and was once on a job site that required a 1,100lb I-beam being moved 106ft up a 55 degree incline of loose gravel. My team and I were getting the infrastructure in place to bring in the necessary equipment for a hoist and pulley system that would drag the steel up the hill. The foreman informed us that this wasn't necessary, and made a phone call. A few mins later a man walked into the trailer office who resembled a juiced up silverback gorilla. He introduced himself as Mike and told us it would be no problem to get the job done. Mike and one of his almost equally large co workers got this I-beam on a sled they had improvised from some welded metal plate, attached cable and looped it over their waists and shoulders. They then proceeded to walk/crawl it up the hill to the top. When you understand the math involved in pulling that off, it is awe inspiring.

So the guy gets there and he's enormous and in talking bigger than a double door smart fridge he was huge and his mate that was with him was equally enormous. I told him my problem I was having and no word of a lie he looks at me and goes why did you just pick it up and I'm like I don't have a fork lift? Next thing him and his friend walk over to it and simply pick the front up drag it to the trailer and rest the front on it,then they walk to the rear and lift the thing off the ground and just push it on.i was in disbelief I'm decently strong and have worked with cars my entire life,I have never seen anyone do that and I haven't seen it happen since if I never witnessed it with my own eyes I wouldn't have believed it.

I've known several bodybuilders, and they don't have much for endurance. I worked with this in guy shoulder to shoulder wider than a door. Literally had to step in sideways. Could bench press a house and shoulders were bigger than my head. He told me I could take him and most bodybuilders. Go for their knees, but if they grab you, it's over. If you think about it logically, the bigger the muscles, the harder the heart has to pump. I was into bodybuilding, and although I incorporated cardio. I found out my muscles were getting burned out fast. I could move and do heavy stuff faster, I'll get burned out. The ones that weren't in the gym struggled to move heavy stuff but were less burned out. Noticed how big dude was struggling on them dead lifts. They're sponsored for "proper nutrition" those construction workers eat at fast food restaurants.
