One thing I really appreciate with Harry is that he doesn't encourage the boys to save every new/fun stuff for later. Got an orange? Eat an orange. Got a trinket? Use the trinket. Too many people save their best stuff for "later" or for "end game" and it just puts so much pressure on playing and using stuff "correctly" that it takes the fun out of it.

Agreed, would be far less fun to watch and presumably play if new things were put in a chest to gather dust for 50 hours. This keeps things fresh and interesting.

I saved so much "good stuff for later" and we quit playing and I never got to enjoy it while I had it.

Considering how meny vaults you have to do to burn through a trinket too.... saving that kinda stuff makes no sense. Reaching the end-game with 400 vaults worth of whatever means ya never gonna use it all. Might as well have more fun gettering there *nodnod*

@@jasam01 Yeah agreed. I had like 5 trinkets, together with 100+ vault uses and I never used any because I was saving up for "endgame". But 25 vault is actually a huge amount of vaults and you'd probably get another trinket by the time it runs out.

I have that problem in games, a constant worry that if I use this thing I'll regret not having it for the later more difficult bits but then, by making the game harder for myself, I burn myself out on the game and then never end up playing it again. There should be a term for this. I mean, idiot works, but it's just not as specific as I would like.

Ben and Harry might be the best pair of recording partners for this that Duncan could ever have asked for. They are not sweaty about max strating and are positive and uplifting. Not to mention they are game for almost anything and don't complain about needing to do X so they can do Z *coughravscough*.

Barry has done most of what can be done in this pack anyway so when he's in this session with Dunc and Ben, he's pretty chill and fun and it makes the series so much better

Duncan feeds off the energy from the others he is playing with, so if he trying to take charge with people like ravs and boba he will give up and the series devolves into a directionless mess. He needs someone like Harry or Lewis who are just as or more clued up on what they are playing to keep Duncan on the rails and making steady progress. Then you have people like Ben and Osie who may not be as skilled or familiar with the game but always have a positive attitude and are always willing to help with progression and can even add their own values that might get lost in others pushing towards the next objective.

Once you get the wither farm going, you can pretty easily make vault dolls - meaning that if Harry needs to bounce again, he can stay behind a little less!

@@Yay295 the problem is duncan is still faster than Ben (because Ben is super thorough and Duncan skips things) so having Ben do thw center row is still optimal. Imagine the chaos if Duncan got to the end of the row and started moving down Ben or Harry's line on accident.

When my friends and I run vaults together, if we have one key we have one person go in and find a door and then have one of the people outside make the key for that door and bring it in. That way you don't need to hope for the RNG of getting the door for the key you made before hand.

Always put a block in the LEFT corner of a door when you walk through it. This way to go back you always follow the block on the right, to go forward you always follow the block on the left. There is zero confusion this way & is a legitimate way to get through a maze.

To be fair, Duncan is literally using blocks with arrows on them. He just needs to place them so that the arrow on *top* is pointing the right way, and the others need to read the *top* of the block.

It actually isn't. It doesn't work in Vault Hunters. It's great honestly. Jump critting is such a stupid mechanic of vanilla Minecraft. Turns combat into everyone just bunny hopping constantly.

And here we have reason number three to not use silk touch. Treasure Rooms. Not only are there two types of unique vault ores, you also have treasure rooms that drop just the gems. So, using Silk Touch in the vault means unique gems take up triple the potential space in bags. If they just ran fortune picks in the vault then Ben wouldn't have ran out of space. Silk Touch is literally useless except for maybe one bounty. Actually it's worse than useless. It's detrimental.

Only one of the three has the extra fortune from the vault levels. So even if they all got fortune pickaxes which would be cheap for them at this stage of the game, they would still be missing out on gem drops

Damage loss from fruits is 10% of max health and not a set amount of hearts, extra health means nothing when it comes to vault fruits

Only 9 fruits per vault can be consumed." So you do not know what you are talking about If Duncan has more hearts, he should eat the fruits Not the others who have base health

@@K1m9857 if someone has 20 hearts and they eat a fruit they lose 2 hearts If someone has 10 hearts and they eat a fruit they lose 1 heart While yes, duncan would indeed have more hearts left in this scenario you gotta consider that to have so many hearts you probably have ignored more defensive rolls somewhere meaning that the person with 9 hearts is way tankier that the person with 18 hearts making it more or less equal
