The Night Goblin Oddnob with the big crescent moon halberd or the Night Goblin Boss with the shield and sword and the crazy warcry on his mouth. Both are so characterful.

Easy, the Warboss/ Big Boss from the old "Lair of the Orc Warlord" Warhammer Quest set. He's just big, crumpy, and mean looking. A wonderful classic of the 4th/ 5th edition era.

I would like to thank Duncan and whole team of TTC for their work. What you do is very helpful for both inexperienced and veteran hobbyists. Another thing I want to point is that you don't really need to paint each individual orc or gobbo to this level. On the table many of this will not be visible. That's why this miniature was actually completed around half of the video. But if you really want to push it so hard then just do it over time. Paint your block of boyz to level of ~7 minute and leave rest for later. One day make full highlights on the choppas, week later do full teeths, month later finish clothes, etc. This way you'll not burn out and regiment will change to your eye over time. Slowly you'll bring your whole army to this level - or you will say one day that it's enough for ordinary troops and will be happy.

Excellent work! I thought it is very interesting that the shades were lighter and lighter base coats with minimal washes applied. This is a very helpful tutorial and I plan to try it soon.

Orc Boyz turned out well for an army of a classic good fantasy game. This would be good colour scheme for an Ork Warboss and a Kill Team Boyz.

This is helpful to knock out a lot of these fast. I vary the green skin tone on my orcs so they have variation. I also customize some of them and add a eye patch or a few scars here and there.

Personally, my take is to do them darker the bigger they get. So little gobbos are a pale green, your avarage boy is a kind of mid-olive green... and huge bosses are virtually black.

I would love to see videos for large armies which have a time limit per-model. A "DRPA table-ready speed paint challenge series" would be amazing. I can't imagine facing into a full O&G army painting at this level, even without the optional highlights. Particularly because my hands don't stay still when I paint! 😖

Favorite fantasy Orc miniature is probably Grimgor Ironhide. He's big, angry, brutal and loud. A real Orc's Orc.

Yes, 200 would be a challenge, Id leave out the final highlighting stage in most cases, maybe just for characters and the front rank
