Important rule to note on Paul. Me and my friends played wronf a couple times before we looked up this rule…. If there are no cards available for you to look at, you do not get to shuffle your cards and then look.

Great video. Checked out the first half having just played my first game of Dune Imperium, where I played as Paul. I played him as a war monger and it didn’t end well, your tips are really interesting. All the best.

Great series! I just got Dune this week & it was cool to hear the strategy for each house as we get ready to play this weekend!

My first run on this game was vs easy AI. I clicked things and tried to make everything work towards a point, but there was no correlation between two turns at all. The game is easy to explain, but the difficulty is in finding synergie between cards in different turns and reducing the amount of luck this requires. Love the game though and this video helps so much to have a basic understanding of what to pursue.

Thanks for these videos. I definitely tend to go for those that seem the most complicated in strategy in games, but Paul has intrigued me since I read his ability. It’s super simple, but it definitely seems to award those who can plan for what’s going, which surprisingly sounds fun to me. I’m excited to try these two characters!

What music did you use for the intro? It seems to fit well with the Dune vibe. Paul has always been my favorite in Dune, but there are so many other great characters as well. Glad to see many of them are in the game.

I have to be honest, I still don’t see the greatness of Paul’s ability. Yes, he can always see the next card, but it’s not like he has many abilities to do something with this? I never had the feeling the knowledge of the next card helped me in any way…

time to update to Rise of Ix. Would likely thumbs up if you had done that. ROI is too significant an update to not have a major effect on strategy, and no one I know who plays the game does not play it with ROI.

The description of Shifting Allegiances at 13:30 does not match how the creator described its use. There is no prohibition against going up two influence with the same faction that you deducted from.
