Rombur is my the most favorite leader because he is in low tier :) and I love to play techs. I like to force salaries for drednotes by rounds 2-4. I win 70-80 % of battles and buy 3+ techs but unfortunately it’s very hard to finish the first :( Especially when playing with fast leaders like Baron, Tessia, Leto :( I would be glad to see your recommendations about this leader) Btw how’s ur hand? Hope it’s fine and nothing serious.

Yes. You have to realise that as much as rombur wants to buy techs and get dreads, he does miss out on the other objectives easily like swordmaster or interstellar. So it is a tough balancing act. My arm is fine, my body isn't. Got cancer and going through chemo now. Hopefully it turns out for the best!

Rhombur is actually pretty solid in Ix. It’s Ix-Immo where he’s more clunky/slow. Keep playing him while you can

​@Redragonclaws I think for quite a while, most people thought he was bad until he was popularised by Lannister in ranked play, particularly the '2 agent' version. After Immo hit, Lannister admitted that Rhombur became almost impossible due to the inadvertent buff to swordmaster via experimentation and the tleilaxu board. Also, overall card quality increased, which altogether meant more actions was just desirable.

Turn 2 I wonder if going smuggle with your ring and grabbing memo was the play. Baron had no faction, so you could leave foldspace open safely. Then you probably get to wealth with your second action, and you can have your swordmaster turn 3, second action.

I think you must think of interstellar and swordmaster as the reward. In this game I committed for interstellar. So going smuggling and not interstellar this round would be an overall tempo loss even if I get swordmaster a round earlier
