Dune RPG - Power and Pawns: The Emperor's Court Review

Here we are with another hugely long Dune RPG review! Hooray!
This time we're looking at Power and Pawns: The Emperor's Court. This supplement kicks things up a notch from the last one, The Great Game, by focusing on high-powered characters engaged in high-level intrigue, reaching all the way to the Emperor's Court on Kaitain. Along with numerous useful tips on running political campaigns and intrigue conflicts, this supplement provides new player options for the Spacing Guild, Swordmasters of Ginaz, and more, alongside a huge amount of detail regarding the Emperor's home planet and all its finery (and hidden nastiness).
I really love this book, as it brings the game upward another level to allow players to engage in the thrilling, highly dangerous political games played between Dune's Great Houses. If you want to rewrite the history of the Imperium, this is the book you need.
As per usual, the writing is excellent, as is the lore and playable content. My one complaint would be a notable lack of art in some places, such as the new Spacing Guild NPCs, and some obvious repeated art from previous books. Other than that, definitely pick this up if you've got any interest in intrigue/politics in the Dune universe!

Great review. I agree. I was very disappointed by the reuse of art from previously published works. It takes away from the premium feel of the product
