I've had the good fortune to be a player in an epic two-year journey through the Star Wars universe via the Star Wars RPG originally produced by Fantasy Flight Games. After Asmodee split off their RPG division to EDGE Studio, reprints have been very slow to hit the streets, and now finally the Beginner Games for all three Star Wars RPG game lines are available again! These reprints tend to be small, though, so if you're interested in these I suggest you act quickly.
In any case, I already owned the FFG versions of all these, plus the Force Awakens Beginner Game (not yet reprinted), but I bought these new versions to ensure you'd get a review of the latest in-print product.
To summarise, these give you great bang for your buck, especially when you factor in the dice sets they come with and the free additional adventures and character folios available for free on EDGE's website. I highly recommend checking these out, and seeing which iteration of this excellent narrative game system best captures your interest :)
Also, if you want to help me keep this very expensive hobby going, please consider donating via my new Ko-Fi page here: ko-fi.com/djth...
Every little bit helps -- in my day job as a scientist, I make enough to pay the rent, but not much more! The stress of the job is killer, and RPGs and tabletop games are my escape. I guarantee every quid you send my way will be spent producing more and better content for you fine folks :)

I've used all of these to introduce new players to the system and we always had a lot of fun.

Thanks for this. Fun set of games. I have been trying to get the Age of Rebellion core rulebook but the tiny Edge reprints mean that even now new copies are on Amazon now for €117 (so £100). Which is more than twice what they were originally. So I guess I missed my chance...should have picked up with the other two core rulebooks before FFG discontinued. [Edit: I see Leisure Games have for £50. Maybe I will suck up the shipping and duty and buy from there. Thanks for the reminder!] I still use the Edge starter set for Meetups. Just a fantastic starter adventure and fun system.

Thanks for watching 😀 Yep, the core book reprints were way too tiny! By the way, dungeonland.co.uk also has the AoR Core for £45.43, if that helps :) The EotE and FaD core books seem to be out of stock everywhere here already, sadly.

@djthorsilver Thank you! That shop unfortunately does not ship outside Little Britain. Another Brexit success. So needs to be Leisure Games or I'll try Germany. But a great game and a good video!

@djthorsilver And your video provoked me indeed to order the Age of Rebellion core rulebook from Leisure Games in London. Just arrived. Thanks!

One of the things I have struggled to find are pdf versions of any of the content for cheapness. Does anyone know where I can find them? Edge studio site doesn’t even seem to have the ability to sell me the physical books

Sadly this has always been the case with Star Wars RPGs! Making physical RPG products is fine, but Lucasfilm prohibits the distribution of PDFs in most cases (small freebies are OK). Of course they can be found if one knows where to look, but they're scans and therefore quite varying in quality, plus KZbin would probably frown on me sharing any links😅

@@djthorsilver Thanks. That seems so strange and weird that they do that and don’t let them do that. Personally I think it is a lost to the game and limits the game. But thanks for the info.

@@benkernow280 I know this answer is very late, but my understanding is that the legal language for Star Wars tabletop RPG licensing has stayed the same since 1987. Electronic distribution of TTRPGs wasn't a thing back then, and the agreement thus wasn't written to allow for it. The reason why no one has since revised the agreement is probably just that lawyers are expensive. TTRPGs generally run on thin profit margins, from what I hear, so Fantasy Flight Games and subsequently EDGE probably estimated that the increased sales wouldn't cover the legal fees. Disney/Lucasfilm, for their part, have no real incentive to revisit the agreement.
