Hope you're all well & thanks for watching 🙂 Finally, I've managed to finish my Dunfermline city guide - really hope you enjoy it and thanks for your patience. It took me a lot longer to make than I was expecting. I think I underestimate how long everything takes when I'm working on my own. I've been trying to think of ways to make the channel more sustainable and have started a Patreon page and a Buy Me A Coffee Page. As I get older I'd really like to spend more time showing you all my favourite places in Scotland and every penny will be reinvested in all the costs of filming - thank you for your support. There will be a Patreon-only video from around Scotland every month and lots of free photos and I'm also offering an itinerary planning service too which I hope you'll find useful. Thanks for watching everyone and I'll be back soon with another video. Best wishes, David Patreon Supporter Page - www.patreon.com/DavidWheater Buy Me A Coffee Page - www.buymeacoffee.com/davidwheater

Hi David, Wonderful video on Dunfermline. I was fortunate to have visited on my last trip to Scotland. To see the tomb of Robert the Bruce in the Abbey was incredible. The history seems to come right out of the stone. I never cease to marvel at all the history that surrounds you wherever you are in Scotland. First-rate work as always! Take care and be well!

Thanks Mike, really appreciate you watching and I’m so glad you’ve had a chance to visit. There is so much history in Dunfermline and there’s definitely an aura around Robert The Bruce’s tomb and especially in St Margaret’s Cave. Hope you have a lovely weekend and thanks for watching. Best wishes, David 🙂

Firstly thank you thank you thank you for showing this beautiful city in such a interesting and pictorial perspective. I lived at the Former RAF Pitreavie in the 70s and have always wanted to return, so early this year we did and we manged to spend a few hours in Dunfermline before having to move on in the campervan but we decided we had to come back and spend more time because there is so much I did not see as a child, I loved going to the Glen and remembered seeing the squirrels and they were still there!!! So we have saved your video and will make notes and points of interest for when we return in December, regards James and Tracy PS "Got ya a wee coffee in, drink it slowly mind, it's hot" ☕😉

Hi James & Tracy, thank you so much for watching and for buying me a coffee - it’s so kind of you and hugely appreciated 🙏 I really enjoyed filming this one as it’s a city not often visited, but it has so much to offer. I really hope you have a wonderful time when you re-visit and that you get some nice weather for a lovely stroll around the Park. Thanks again for watching & all your kindness, warmest best wishes & thanks, David 😀

@@DavidWheaterScotland Morning David from a very soggy Nth Wales (we're use to it) we will rewatch and make notes as there are a few places we definitely don't want to miss and also as we are heading there 1st week in December we will rely on some indoor options just in case we need to, thanks again, I do appreciate the work that goes into filming and editing and getting it out there to the masses, regards James

@jamescrook9749 Thanks so much James, you’re very kind and it’s much appreciated. I’m going to try & keep going with YT but I must admit to finding it more challenging just now. But I’ll persevere and it’s lovely people, such as yourself, that give me the motivation to keep filming. Have a lovely time when you visit. All the best & many thanks, David 🥹

Hi Phil, so lovely to hear from you - hope you're both well. I lost my Instagram Account and had to start again with an old one, so apologies for not staying in touch. Yes, it's a small city, but a truly fascinating one and well worth a visit when you're over again. I'm still using your lovely wooden mats and it always reminds me of the lovely day we all spent together :-) Thanks so much for watching. All the best, David

Hi Alan, thanks so much for watching. It's a small wee city, but its history is fascinating and goes back such a long way. I really enjoyed making the video and discovered so much about the city I didn't know. The guides in the Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum were outstanding and so friendly - it's definitely a 'must-see' when visiting. It's a great story of rags to riches too. Thanks as always for all your support, I always really appreciate it. Have a lovely weekend, David :-)
