A few weeks ago, I started my second Drakkenheim campaign. In my first campaign, I had a gang of optimizers with a good tactical mind on the table, and it was fun, but after Temple Gate, I threw my monster books away and designed my own creatures to challenge them. Now, in my second attempt, the players are all old (almost my age), and they are returning to DnD after a long break. None of them cares for optimation, and just one of them has the knowledge to optimize. But all of them are surprisingly versatile roleplayers, and my job right now is to lay back and watch them get into trouble. Both groups are fun, and thank you Dudes for all the books.

Regarding running short arc seasons. As well as Dimension 20, Oxventure also do roughly 10 episode seasons of DnD and other rpgs. It would be worth checking out, especially their non-dnd ttprpgs.

Yeah, for non D&D stuff as well I work on a show called Mystery Quest, it's short self contained series 1-7 episodes in a variety of systems

Thought for Colby on team up builds. You could consider building a full team centered around a concept or just work well together and present them one at a time somewhat like Loquitor RPG does and not all at the same time.

@DnDDeepDive they just released a other expansion. It's a lot of fun with the flying mounts and exploring maps differently than when we only had jumping or gliding back in the day. Curious what your favorite class in GW2 was?

In a 20th level oneshot I did a dance bard dip as a blade warlock to get better ac (using charisma for ac) . Alongside a dragon mask I had better ac than all the front liners (25ac with a few other items). It’s a useful dip for cha casters without armour.

With the new conjure spells sustain damage is not a problem. Matter of fact Treantmonk did a video about this (conjure woodland beings) is a problematic spell/playstyle. When it comes to casting a single spell that just wrecks a dungeon/BBEG lair then it becomes passing the druid or cleric with Spirit Guardians.

Top 3 games: Dragon Age, Mass Effect, & Super Smash Bros. I easily have the most hours in Skyrim, but it’s not necessarily my favorite. Still up there though. Honorable Mentions: Zelda, Fallout 4, Assassins creed Black flag, pokemon, digimon world/ cyber sleuth, Stellaris, Dragons Dogma & kotor (stars wars games in general though). As for missing subclasses, give me a plant & light themed circle of the Sun Druid.

I love the Drakkenheim products so far, the campaign is very well outlined, my only complaint is that the roll20 adaption has to many generic tokens without art for each npc . Its easy, but timeconsuming to fix on my part, but id love for this not to be the case in the monsters of drakkenheim book

Answering a few of the questions for myself that the Dudes answered: "What character would you play in a Drakkenheim campaign:" I'm DMing the Drakkenheim game my group is playing, but if I were to be a player I would be Shadow Domain cleric from SCGD, seeing as they don't have a dedicated healer or a full caster. "Favorite Video Game/Top 3 Video Games series:" Favourite video game is Zelda Ocarina of Time. Top 3 favourite series are Zelda, Metroid, and Resident Evil. Favorite Metriod is a tie between Metroid Prime 3 and Dread, favourite Resident Evil is Resident Evil 4, both the OG and the Remake "What subclass that was missing from the 2024 PHB would you like to see get the 2024 treatment?" I have two answers for this, the Arcane Archer fighter, I really like the idea of it but the small amount of arcane shots really hinders the class and hope that it gets addressed, the shot choices also need to scale up sooner then 18th level. Second one is Alchemist Artificer, it had a good idea but poor execution. The free Experimental Elixir's you get per day need to not be randomly determined and also need to scale at some point (maybe at level 9?). Also needs an option for making poisons
