Funny that you went from goats to The Goose. In our last session, my buddy's Cleric was inspecting a herd of goats and he came across a goose in the midst of them. For some reason he tried Speak with Animals, which worked on the goats, but not the goose. The goose then followed him back to the inn, where we discovered that only he can see and interact with this goose.

10:42 That's how devils used to promote in older editions. Every devil had an organ filled with tiny spheres, each containing a miniature version of a different devil type, one for each kind of devil. When it was time for a promotion or demotion, the sphere containing the appropriate type of devil would expand until a new, full-sized devil burst out of their chest. That new devil, of course, had its own special organ with miniature devils.

The UK law is about swans. All of them in the country are legally considered property of the royal family. No one else is permitted to eat them, which is probably nbd I've heard swan isn't really that good. Geese are fair game for anyone to own and / or eat.

I roll HP for my monsters, especially when I have multiple the same ones. My players like to count how much damage they have done for a kill, rolling the stats can throw them off a little, and with a dice generator it's quickly done

With imps it’s not about them actually snatching a soul. Instead they get credit for increasing the ranks of the Nine Hells, so they’re more like Recruiters for the Armed Forces. “You want chipotle right? Well here’s a knife and that guy there has a double stuffed burrito, oh oh he’s gonna touch it! Go go go!”

Imps are lawful. They just follow devil law. Devils can lie, just not on contracts. I see imps being akin to Sarumon's henchman that whispered into the ear and corrupted the king of Rohan in LOTR, a Quasit being more like the demon from The Enchanted TV series

Nearly done watching. It should be noted that imp or quasit warlock familiars, given with pack of the chain, are not (necessarily) imp or quasits. These are a base celestial, fiend or fae able to take on different forms (and the aspects of that form). Hypothetically, your warlock's "imp" may be a celestial in actuality.

About Rolling HP TLDR: i don't roll hp but i will drop the hp of some of them if in a group to make some seem stronger then others if i have a large group of monsters or a group of large monsters if there are monsters that are the same i will make some of them have less hp then others, so it seems like the normal ones are the strong guys because they might take a hit or two more the some of the others. I don't roll any of it i just drop it by some amount that feels right for what im doing, how many monsters and what they are, along with your group matter. if i had 2 adult red dragons for (some reason) id probably drop one of there hp by 20-30 points depending on how big my party is and how well they can work together to take advantage of what they can do, i might even increase the others hp above the average by 20-30 to make the gap between them larger without making one too weak. have one protect the other and make it run away or get really mad if you kill the weaker one or both and then you have a dragon hunting your party. maybe you want to go extreme with that idea and have one with max 361 and the other just average 256 or a bit lower. Then you have a crazy buff dragon thats hard to kill and one that will be far more likely to die so you almost force that idea of a mad dragon hunting the party to to happen, by applying survival of the fittest to a point. players can and will always be able to just focus on the big one and kill it and then the weaker one anyway if they want to so don't put all your eggs in one basket. Sorry for he rant but if you don't like it they why are you reading this 🙃

British Queen - owns all the Swans, and it is not permitted to hunt/kill/eat without the royal licence. Not geese (goose). So swan is most definately off the menu, but goose... yea, fine.

The galabrezu is a demon. They ain’t making deals. I assume you meant to reference a devil?
@Thedungeoncast6 ай бұрын
"Although glabrezus are devastating in combat, they prefer to tempt victims into ruin, using power or wealth as a lure. Engaging in guile, trickery, and evil bargains, a glabrezu hoards riches that it uses to fulfill promises to shortsighted summoners and weak-willed mortals. However, if its attempts to entice or deceive fail, a glabrezu has the strength to fight and win." Direct quote from the Monster Manual entry on Glabrezu.

@@Thedungeoncast I stand corrected ❤️ Although I probably wouldn’t call that “deal making,” that implies lawfulness.
