This is brilliant haha, I dropped an underground cavern, featuring an interdimensional portal, a spelljammer (Big cannon one) with a Gif crew, forgotten entrance to dwarven hold underneath Drakkenheim & the duplicity of the rat prince. Think, Ratlings swarming the Spelljammer (Which had dome shields for flavour) A la final space battle of Enders game haha. Soooo glad to be justified that you have tied them into drakkenheim yourself Monty haha.

I'm starting to think the Thing with the writhing tail might physically be a black hole: it's all consuming and utter annihilation(destroys without leaving traces and creates from nothing) it creates some sort of field of distorsion and illusion, it exerts great force in the form of gravity(Wrath uses telekinesis and beams of force), it's dark and ancient, it's incomprehensible and dwells far away in the space between worlds, it's an enemy of the masters of time and order, it's mesmerizing and overpowering to the senses. Bruce is the manifestation of the Thing with the writhing tail that is closest to the true one(because Wrath is the pact master): a black cat, symbol of misfortune "a baleful star"(and black holes can originate from collapsed massive stars)... And let's not forget the scene of the cheshire cat appearing as the moon becoming a grin in the sky and then manifesting, it's not the first time in media that cats and celestial bodies are associated one to another. This is highly speculative, but what isn't speculation in lovecraftian stories? Btw, If Bruce takes over and then is defeated by our heroes and Wrath loses his beloved companion, he might need someone else to fill the hole in his heart... Wrath, you gotta learn how to conjure food and cook if that ever happens, start taking lessons.

Hi Dungeon Dudes. Thanks for your great videos. I was checking Veo Sjena's online character sheet and notice she has a handcrossbow of warning but no attunement. Hey, Jill should've been able to use uncanny dodge when grappled RAW. For some it might not make sense, but the idea is a rogue is so "slippery" that they can dodge when held (squirming or such). It didn't really matter in the end, but wanted to bring this up.

Story wise it made sense. Same way the Thunder Step didn't go as planned.

@Knic Ya, like thunder step technically if the creatures stopped teleporting, then the entire spell wouldn't have gone off, but it was better the way it was. But in my game, I would've allowed her to use uncanny dodge, saying she squirmed and slipped out a bit so it didn't hit her as bad. In the end, like I said, it didn't matter, but I wanted to say that it should've worked RAW
