This game could have had so much potential. On paper it was a game I was needing at the time. Dungeon diving, loot grinding, Dark Alliance characters, fantasy setting, co-op... but man it was completely biffed and still is. I really just wanted to fill a void from Mass Effect 3 re-release not having its multiplayer and I really wanted Dark Alliance to be that go-to. I still do, but it still just isn't even in a playable state. Big let down.

I would've liked this game if it was another balder's gate create a character game but set in Icewind dale with a totally original story. Drizzt and others can be npcs that your character meets, do quests for, maybe even team up with. Aging up Catti-Brie and Drizzt's skill set up are the only good things in this game.

Love how people even got as far as getting the item picking up bug, WHILE I WAS CONSTANTLY BEING KICKED FROM MY OWN DAMN GAME SESSIONS, EVEN SOLO ONES!?

Was disappointed and sad for this game. I was eager to play and play with friends. it was free on xbox gamepass. Tried as single player, couldn't get past the 1st level since I kept upping the difficulty. Then I'd lose the loot I found because I would just shut the game down. Wasted 4 hours on it. Man had high hopes for this one.

There would have been so much more replay if they had create a character. They could have had the original Icewind Dale characters, taking part in their adventure, and you and your team are just another group of adventurers that runs into the original band. I don't know but I read all the Icewind Dale books, and if you did that, it kind of makes you feel that you have already seen Drizzt band's quest. IMO they should have used the system from the game "SEVEN: The Days Long Gone" in co-op with create a character. If you have never seen Seven, it is pretty much an Open world game in an Isometric view, where you can scale buildings and go anywhere. Seriously watch some gameplay and imagine what I just said.

They should be destroyed for using Dungeons & Dragons in the title of a game like this.. I've continuously kept checking back on this title to see if they've actually fixed the many problematic areas of the game.. I've yet to see this game on sale on PlayStation. I'm not buying it now anyways.

the game is not so bad, there are flaws sure but the combat is fun (if you are not a button masher that is) and tbh i didn't had almost any gamebraking bug at all. You also say there is no rpg elements here except there's 3 different ability trees for each character and a good amount of unique loot. So ye calling out spme slimy behaviour of stating opinions as facts and throwing some flat out BS in good measure. Is the game good? meh, it's ok it's not however the mess this dude makes it out to be

They really should just stick to their original plan, the top down camera angle like the original Dark Alliance. Instead they gave us this bootleg Vermintide. And bro, your friend only play twice a year and you made him play this... Are you sure he's your friend? 🤣

bootleg vermintide. i love this. should have been in the review aaa, yeah. he actually loves games like these and I was the one who convinced him to play it. honestly, he did not notice most of the issues and i was trying to ignore them and move on. in the end he was the one who had the most fun, not me

D&D isn't doing well right now in Gaming, Neverwinter Online become so much pay2win its not even funny, now this. The only thing thats gonna save D&D videogames is Baldurs Gate 3. People make fun that is Divinity Orginal Sin 2.5, but DOS2 was bad? Its one of best cRPG, but it isnt BG.
