Once upon a time, I used the noun "punchmouth" in a sentence conversing with an enemy npc... entire group and GM responded with the perfect "HUH?!?!?" I pantomimed punching the GM in the mouth to end the conversation with the npc and my friends screamed with laughter. I stole that from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and I'm not sorry.

Andy Hughes I agree. I completely dismissed shield master when I saw it. After seeing Pluto, I see it is an indispensable fighter feat. Impressive how he maximizes his actions by making sure he always has a reaction and bonus action.

A comment on empowered spell metamagic. You can use it to re-roll your high dice, to try and reduce damage. e.g. when using thunder-step near an ally.

Hi Dudes, I just got my Skull Splitter Dice. I ordered the HUNGER OF THE ANCIENTS . Industrial gray with gold numbers. They feel great in my hands. I had other metal dice previously, an inexpensive gold and black metal set from Amazon with great reviews, yet it came with the paint falling off. I returned them and ordered the Skull Splitter set after seeing them used here. I am looking forward to getting back into D&D after 35 years. I use the Beyond app and will be using my Skull Splitters to roll up some characters. Thank you for the the great entertainment. I loved the last few sessions, Jill, Kelly, and Joe are doing an excellent job digging into their roles. Due to Jill's portrayal of Veo I am considering a Rogue/ Ranger as a Tabaxi. Cheers! This is a good example of how to do a Sige session/one shot. It's just full of action and small section for roll play. But I love how the players roll play there characters during the entire combat.

As both Pluto and Sebastian can teleport with a +1 as Sebastian I would have requested the hooded lantern that the Queen of thieves was disguised as to be my +1 for the mission, either it would go well and at worst she would be annoyed but work with them or she simply shape changes before the mission starts. Would be a fantastic risk to reward ratio but very exiting!

remember in harmon quest where everyone's terrified of this cult summoning a manticore and fight tooth and nail to try and prevent it's summons only to fail miserably but here in drakkenheim, pluto Jackson fucking nails a random manticore with a javelin, tripping it and causing it to plummet onto the tower they're on

Finally caught up with the uploads! Been away a while so couldn't be there every week. Music was particularly good this time around. Also, great to see a full-on battle - and a good way to handle a small PC party doing a special mission during a larger battle: participating in it in an important way yet also not just playing walking meat grinder on the ground. Glad that the leader figures are finally less adversarial too - suddenly the world feels a lot more, I dunno, enjoyable. Seeing them in jolly co-operation for battle, even more so. Of course, the real fun will begin afterwards, with whatever comes next... the Queen(s) and the Followers of Falling Atom to play with, and there's the mage tower... The best is yet ahead!

This was posted two years ago, so I feel like it's okay to say. My theory on the Queen of thieves is that she's one of the Royal Family, probably one of the kids that they are looking for. Or at the very least is/was VERY close to one of them. I can't think of any other reason she'd believe she was the rightful Queen of Drakkenheim AND know about the badges and ring. It's my first watch-through so Idk if I'm correct, but that's all that makes sense right now...

It took me being a half orc fighter at level 14 with Hazirawn in hand to deal 70+damage in one turn like that. Pluto Jackson just did it with a sword, an Olympic sport weapon, and gravity
