A good trailer isn’t supposed to tell you the plot; it’s just supposed to pique your interest. In fact, I’ve noticed this problem quite often with you, Rick. You try to analyze trailers way too much, to the extent that you build a certain plot in your head, and when the movie doesn’t go according to the plot that you’ve built, you come back disappointed, and you say you don’t like the film. That is not the trailer’s doing, that is your doing.

Well India does not have any gun culture and the fact that we see Hardy SRK fires that gun (ex-Army) justifies that he knows how to handle guns. Lage Raho Munnabhai trailers didn't even show Gandhi, and the 3 idiots trailers didn't show the dramatic/emotional aspect of the movie. Back then, Hirani movies were marketed as silly comedies, and the social commentary and the drama came as a surprise, but, now we know that as his trademark.

I agree with Rick ,it's a mish mash of a trailer (individually in parts it looks great but not as a cohesive whole)..luckily the films that came before from Rajkumar Hirani ji have all been great ,good trailers or not so that's encouraging that we dont need to take whatever we see in the trailer as definitely what the movie's about....having said that ...too much whitish makeup and some acting bordering on silliness which doesn't seem funny...Still All the best and prayers to Shahrukh ji and Team to do extremely well as an enjoyable movie as well as financially ❤😊🙏

Raju Hirani's movie are usually good. However, there is a major weak point and that is SRK. Here is a star who cannot share screen time or hero time with others and as a result the story suffers. However, as we have seen with jawan no matter how bad the acting or story it still can make 1000cr. The public craze for SRK is over the top. He can be sleeping or snoring the entire movie, but can still fetch 1000cr. SRK truly the 8th wonder of the world

When I first watched "PK" movie trailer I perdicted it would be boring because I assumed I knew the whole plot as it would be kinda similar to Anil Kapoor's ESHWAR or Sridevi's SADMA with Anushka filling in the role of Kamal Hasan (with no mention of alien or ufo in trailer).. after my friend forced me to watch it I was blown away.... so I will never judge a Raju Hirani movie by its trailer....😊
