Noita No Hit Run -- Undamaged Achievement

The hunt for the Noita No Hit Run! There is an in game achievement for successfully completing a run without taking any damage AT ALL. To make things even more interesting I decided I wanted to attempt this with the McQueeb rules that he made back before in an game achievement even an existed.
Here are the rules for anyone interested: • No damage of any kind (environmental, enemy, self, etc) • Proceed through the "intended" gameplay path • No skipping levels • No wands dropped by the ghost (gold drops are ok) • No Invisibility of any kind • No teleporting of any kind except the Holy Mountain portal. • No Ambrosia or Glass Cannon • No alchemy, even if found by luck
Seed must be randomly generated by the game.

I got a crazy find today, i found a chest with greek letter randomly that copies the last spell on a wand, then some unstable teleportatium. But otherwise the first area was completely and utterly barron, like there wasn't a single wand or hp up anywhere, but the holy mountain was fucking crazy, like an immediate black hole, well i grabbed it and teleported down using the unstable teleport, and i landed straight next to a wand with another 4 black holes... Well after a bit of exploring found a teleport wand in the fungal caverns, so I just headed back to make one of the wands shoot infinite black holes. Then i transformed lava to levitatium and thought it was a cool thing as the flies couldn't hurt me after dying, right? Well i decided to wonder why there was gunpowder pops or something coming from the fireflies and thought about how much damage it would do, i was well off taking the usual 2-5 dmg or something from gunpowder so i tipped my toes in the explosions to check the dmg, well it did 44 damage and I just died, i mean i had a pretty easy god run going for me otherwise.

It's likely also true, because in a run like this you'd want to minimize the amount of opportunities where damage is possible. Sticking around to wander levels or doing any of the other things you'd normally do to "ensure a good run" goes out the window

If you translate the glyphs it says "MEDITATE", also a slight blue glimmer comes up when you stand on it for a few seconds already, it's a nice puzzle imo

i feel like saying a perk is overpowered because it doesn't have a drawback like the health not mattering is kinda stupid when you still take all the other ones that have no drawbacks, why wouldn't all the immunity perks be banned too then? i feel like they are even more beneficial to the challenge.

The problem is that the Glass Cannon perk initially has a drawback attached to it, unlike immunities. Getting completely rid of a downside of a perk is just unhealthy behavior for this type of challenge. Chase still managed to one-shot anything with his build, but with Glass cannon, the idea of building a strong wand, pretty much goes out of the window, since a single spark bolt would hit for a ton of damage, not talking about 5 of them with concentrated spells perk. Immunity, however, although strong, does not protect you from random hits of every type at the same time. So if he wanted to swim in lava for some reason, despite the fire resistance he got, he would kill the run anyway. Anyway even if in every Holy Mountain there was an immunity perk it would simply be not enough mountains to obtain every single immunity.

The immunity ones aren't changed by the conditions of the run. There aren't any drawbacks to them in a normal run unless you like getting burned, zapped, and eaten alive by acid.

Idk in my eyes glass cannon is still a risk with increased blast radius unless you avoid all explosives, even with immunities you have more risk with stuff potentially falling down on you from a big blast or liquids raining down. Then again I really just like big explosions I guess.

Meditation boxes are rare? Somehow I've had them a ton. I once found two right next to each other and the portals just went haywire, must be something about how its coded. Half the time I would end up in the box again after taking the portal out and stuff like that.

was going for ng+ achievements and accidentally got one more orb than necessary going into ng+2. Couldn't figure out how to die, not even end of all things could save me. I managed to find a sheep transmutation spell and drowned myself in gold.

53:40 that's a dumb rule. McWeeb rules don't make any sense, there's plenty of op things in the game. If you're going to ban glass cannon you may as well also ban the meditation cube, concentrated spells, spell wrapping and any busted wand combo, all the immunities, any speed buff, and so on.... It's inconsistent and not within the spirit of the game.

Yep it still works! All in game achievements still work with mods on however steam achievements don’t.

If you want to use a mod for no hit run, just make all damage sources do 100 damage, and picking up hearts does nothing. Problem solved.

It essentially gives the viewers the ability to see my screen where I edit wands so they don’t have to ask me all the time to show my current wands to help them understand difficult builds.
