That was a great video. The second view point, where your filming camera was, i thought that was an amazing composition and so well balanced. Proper S curve with the water, lots of layers, light seemed good. That would have been an awesome shot. Thanks for taking us with you. That was great to see you doing that.
@dunnadidit18 күн бұрын
Glad you enjoyed it! I totally agree. As I was editing the video I was like, “well… that was definitely the shot” I think I was zoomed into 50mm or so there so I a bit more compression of the layers than some of the wider photos I took.

I struggle a lot with taking breaks and organizing my work schedule. I tend to push myself to finish everything as quickly as possible, which often leaves me completely burned out. As a self-employed photo- and videographer, I absolutely love what I do, but the downside is that I’ve lost the joy of taking photos and videos just for fun in my free time. And that honestly feels so sad. Thank you for your video-it’s such a valuable reminder that I need to improve how I manage my time. By getting better at this, I hope I can rediscover the passion for photography and videography as a hobby and not just as work.
@dunnadidit18 күн бұрын
I feel you a lot on that. It's hard when you take your hobby and turn it into your job. It's difficult to find the balance and keep the joy and love for the "hobby" side of it.

When I lived on the lower mainland I used to love getting over to the island. Didn’t happen anywhere near as much as I would have liked, and I still miss it. One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. I keep telling my wife, if we’re able to move back to Canada, I want to live on the island
