I absolutely love the high tuning! Thanks for sharing so many different drums with us!

My pleasure, high tuning is amazing on this snare.

Nice playing on a beautiful snare drum. Not only is the Dunnett snare a fantastic looking snare but the feel, response and sensitivity is absolutely top shelf. I just bought the Grey raw finish version 14 x 6.5 six months ago and absolutely love it. Pricey .. but well worth it.

Thanks John, appreciate the comment and it's a great drum. Been wanting one for years and when Ronn posted up that ad on Facebook I had to jump on it. His drums are worth every cent in my opinion and every drummer should own a Dunnett snare

oh yeah - love my Raw Titanium 14x6 & my Desig2nate Gergo Borlai 14x6. These are my 2 favorite Snares to play. Worth every cent really. Keep that great Snare Videos coming. Love them.

Congratulations my friend! That's one fine instrument you have there! I've tried many different snare drums and regard Dunnett as thee very best! Of all your demos, this particular titanium model surpasses the others......by a long shot! The amazing thing about Ronn's drums are not just the tone and good looks but the unmatched level of sensitivity that one can only experience through playing one. Hope you're enjoying that one! Cheers!

Jan Patrick Lucas Thanks Jan and thanks for the very kind words and I know Ronn will see your comment at some stage. As soon as I landed back from NAMM I used this drum consistently for 12 months for pretty much everything.

Great to hear from you. You do a great job with these videos. Demos are common but your approach is unique. As wonderful as the titanium is I actually prefer Ronn's magnesium drum. To me it's sort of in between aluminum and titanium.

Sounds amazing, one of many snares that I would like to have. The empyrean sound doesn’t compares with this dunnett

Two different animals but the Dunnett is defiantly obtainable.

Despite what you say about handling different tunings, for me it still really hits the zone at high tension. I have a VK titanium, and it's the same; it really likes being cranked, and feels most comfortable in that zone. Nice looking snare though. I have a couple of Dunnetts and they are a joy to play.
@IAMDRUMMER3 жыл бұрын
I have always wanted a VK and will get one at some point post pandemic. Dunnett knows what he's doing when it comes to snares.

Plus I like the fact that when you play and demo snare drums you play as if you were playing music rather than just jerking and playing a bunch of senseless chops because at the end of the day we use snare drums for music not drum solos. Unless you're Terry Bozzio.🤣
@IAMDRUMMER2 жыл бұрын
Nathan I will take this compliment and run with it, that's pretty much the idea I went with and do in all my videos especially being a gigging drummer.
