Been a long time since I heard the Pandamon. I don't remember much about them to be honest. For the price, Titan S seems to be the one to beat! I'm getting tired of all these V-shaped Harman-ish kind of tuning, though musical and enjoyable, most of them suffer from having a narrow soundstage, less transparency and detail retrieval is often compromised. I have the OH10 and OG Tri i3 and T3+ - all three are Harman-tuned with slight differences in bass/treble accents especially with i3 being a bass monster. But I would love to have something like the Titan S - with a bit more balanced, neutral, I guess slightly bright tuning with a wide soundstage and decent imaging

@@TheHonestAudiophile got it 10 hours ago. The purity in the vocals (and instruments especially if they are in that mid frequency) is stunning, accentuated by lovely soundstage. By purity, i think I mean crystal clear, natural. In right hands, as with say Tori Amos's breathing and whispering through the track 'Time', it sounds like ASMR. Makes me wonder how a high quality iem will sound! I guess I like this tone, timbre song signature of Titan s for a mids-focused genre. For more 'fun' and that lingering caffeine kick, guess there is Legato. It dragged me back 30 years to a friend's living room with his father's huge audio equipments and stirring sub-woofers. Simgot EA 500 (whose Treble didn't jar me as it has done to several -- guess my ears are more Treble heady and I like it for EDMs) however sometimes offers a tinny, metallic, sound to instruments and soundstage isn't as good. Anyway, thanks again for the reco. My next buy will be in this Titan s-que but with that tingling oomph. Guess will have to cough up a lot more dough for that! Cheers

I have the Dunu Titan 1 (as built under licence for Fifo to sell as their first ever IEM- EX1 mk1), and the Titan 3.... Both of these come with the exact same rubber cable tie thing Dave, despite being several years older - so Dunu obviously likes to stick with it. Both these early Titan's sound great (the Titan 1 is legendary for its open / airy sound due to multiple air holes in the case), and both are well made. It's a shame Dunu do not offer a free pair of Spin Fit tips in the package, as Dunu own Spin Fit! I think Dunu are very under rated in the 'scene'.

About the sound, extremely detailed with easy to hear micro details. I heard some instruments which I didn't really hear previously in some of the tracks. About the bass. Is it just me or the bass on this is low? I get that bass smack but not much rumble. I'm not sure if it's the fit, tried many pairs. It really goes deep. Small ones fit best for me. I'm not sure if I'm a bass head or not but I like the cca CRA alot for it's clarity and bass, and I feel that the kz zsn pro x have much more bass, but everything else is just confusing. So I'm not sure if I qualify as a bass head. But you tell, I think Dunus are not bass prominent are they? I just want to be sure that it's not the fit. Dunus are really really clear. Why does noone talk about the shure se215. They are excellent iems
@TheHonestAudiophile2 жыл бұрын
I've heard the Shure SE215 and I enjoyed it. SE215 is bassy and warm but was adequate in detail retrieval and resolution, had good tone and timbre, wasn't an IEM I'd use as a monitor. But it is a fun everyday carry IEM.

They were probably the best IEM under $100 in 2015, when they were released, but things have happened in the last couple years.

Good afternoon, excuse my question but I am not very knowledgeable about the subject and I would like to ask something, I do not know much English so I hope to write well. I listen to rock and metal, with hiby r3 pro and some tin t2 plus... but I feel that something is missing, some emotion, bass, fun. I have a limit of 200 dlls, and I have read about the FH3, Yume, FD3, L3, Aria, etc. I would like your opinion on a headset to have fun, with good bass for example. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge. Greetings

I would look at the Aiderlot M5 www.thehonestaudiophile.com/post/aiderlot-m5-how-to-balance-fun-and-detailed The SeeAudio Yume would be another solid option. The FH3 I found to be a bit boring sound even though it had excellent technical abilities. The L3 were not a favorite of mine. Aria are a tad aggressive presentation in the mids and treble.

Hi Dave! I'm looking to get a good pair of iems. I currently have a pair of m40x. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure these are supposed to be fairly neutral headphones but I find that they are quite boring to listen to. Do you think something funner like the t3+ could be better for me than the titan s?
@TheHonestAudiophile2 жыл бұрын
If you are choosing between the T3 Plus and Titan S then yes, the T3 Plus is the more fun option.

Simgot 500 or Dunu Titan?
@TheHonestAudiophile3 ай бұрын
Titan S is mid forward with more natural tone and timbre
@vova45853 ай бұрын
@@TheHonestAudiophile I will choose Simgot 1000, I feel that they will replace both Simgot 500 and Dunu Titan.

I use CTM flexi tips with the Titan S.

@@TheHonestAudiophile I just researched it. Looks like they are priced just right. Not as expensive as spinfits. Curious if you've also tried spinfits with these as well

I don't recall trying SpinFit it with the Titan S. Another tip I use with it is the TRI Clarion.

better technicalities than Aria?
@TheHonestAudiophile2 жыл бұрын
Yes, the Dunu is more detailed, resolving, better imaging accurate, better depth and layering.

what abaut speed bass??? i mean double kick i'm listening some metal music like slipknot and dragonforce
@TheHonestAudiophile2 жыл бұрын
The bass is clean and accurate but lacks the thump and kick that helps to enforce metal music.

This review kinda reminds me of my experience with the Timeless. They are a fantastic IEM BUT I feel it lacks with bass impact and it kinda sounds a bit lifeless without that impact. I'm in no way a basshead BUT the bass could do with a bit more impact. Might be a tip problem as I still have not found a tip I'm happy with on the Timeless. Waiting for payday so I can try the CTM Flexi Tips BUT as much as I'm unhappy, I'm also very happy with the tips I use (White with White ore, Medium size) and as the Timeless changes with tips, I don't want to lose what the white tips bring to the table. I hate this hobby lol The more I think about it, the more things bug me lol

I like the stock red stem tips on the Timeless. I look forward to your impressions of the CTM Flexi tips with the Timeless. You are right, the Timeless is tip dependent. Thanks for the comment.
@TBMartin2 жыл бұрын
@@TheHonestAudiophile I wish i got the same stock red stem tips because it's what reviewers lile yourself like the most out of all the included tips. I never got them as you can tell so my experience is different and i hate that lol I'll let you know as soon as i get them. Will be buying them in 2 weeks and probably take another week after that.

@@TBMartin That's a bummer that they weren't included. Did 7hz change the tips included?
@TBMartin2 жыл бұрын
@@TheHonestAudiophile That reminds me. The gray tips with red bore, who do you think made them? I have figured out that the other tips that come with the Timeless (the white tips and the greenish tips) are made by kbear. But i can't figure out who made the gray tip with red bore so i can't find them lol
@TBMartin2 жыл бұрын
@@TheHonestAudiophile They didn't change as such, they included the same ones you got but for some reason didn't include the gray tip with red bore for most of us who brought them after you and other reviews reviewed them. I guess they ran out of them but they are the best ones by the sounds of it. All the others make them V shaped.

In a nutshell, it's analytical but lacking in musicality. It's not an IEM for your everyday music.
