I played classical guitar from the age of 12 - a few years ago I got a nerve problem in the left arm/hand and donated my guitar and the pile of sheet music to the local music school. The love for music always stays though 🙂

I’m sorry to hear that. I haven’t been able to play my piano in years because of hand surgeries due to nerve damage ,& also my piano had been kept at my parents home. L( but I have it a/me nuw since we moved to Florida) 😌but am trying now very little mild simple piano ‘exercises here & there . ’ . I imagine holding& playing the guitars t would be so much more difficult for the hands w/nerve damage… Thst is such a wonderful gesture to donate to a local music school❣️ music really is a universal language & it’s so important to introduce music into children’s lives at a to young age , whether it’s just listening or just small musical toys to start them off. My hubby plays bass guitar & we have a music room with some of his bass guitars hung on the wall , & my piano my grandfather gave me on the opposite wall. I have a big vinyl record collection all genres ( including world music & some Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Brazilian & Caribbean etc) albums with quite a bit of classical music albums , including a couple of 78 rpm records from my dad& his parents . We always have music on💕🎶 take care
