Then i moved to Australia but spent most of my life working to make a living. The lack of talent stopped mi to try playing music myself but the Love for music is as great as for professional musicians. Now i am retired and experiment with making my own simple handmade instruments. I made a single string slide guitar and use a violin bow. It works quite well and using sound effects it sounds great. Didn,t work in the beginning till someone told me about using ROSIN. Thank You very much! Hans Mosshammer

Excellent video. And I’m sure cellists and violinists will love it too. It doesn’t take away from them, it adds to music. Also, I watched Jimmy Page and Robert Plant live in Birmingham UK in the 1994. It was epic! Supported by Rusted Root, who kept swapping instruments between each other. And Page & Plant has a technical error and the sound went above 140db for a second, which, to me and the crowd, felt like a fighter jet had done a low-pass above us at full speed. It wasn’t a sound, it was too loud to hear - above the threshold of pain - and most of us ducked our heads and shouted “Whoa!” Page or Plant said “Oops, sorry...” And the show went on. Epic!
@106RoM084 жыл бұрын
Hey guys! Rosin it's an accessory for violin, double bass etc ... I managed to play without 😉 Take your pen and some P220 or P240 grit sandpaper. Sand your pen along its length. just a little bit ! Now place your pen on the E string and rub to heat it. After a moment, you will feel resistance and the sound will appear. Don't worry to push on your pen for heat it. Let's go ! Take pleasure 😁

I found a way to do this without rosin, basically I used my needle nose pliers on a pen like the one used in this video, I lightly scratched it up, not heavy scratches but enough to give it a grainy but still slightly smooth texture and apply a medium amount of pressure on the strings, this also might have better effect on steel strings (like mine) in comparison to nylon. No obviously it’s not as good as use if rosin on it but it’s a cheaper alternative, that still produces good sound

I enjoyed this technique immensely. I suggest all you acoustic electric guitar players run this bowing technique sound through some reverb and delay pedals for maximum effect.😎👍🎼🎸

Jonathan Chiasson some people don’t like some genres, get over it, doesn’t make them “elitists”
@TheTacticalMess4 жыл бұрын
Mac Muggo The issue isn’t not liking a genre. The issue is calling it ignorant shit when there are some EXTREMELY talented rap and hip hop artists. Outkast? Literal poetry.
@destructor.934 жыл бұрын
Mac Muggo Here’s the thing, you not liking something doesn’t make it crap. You’re opinion isn’t fact and it doesn’t matter at all. You like what you like and that’s fine, but something doesn’t suck because you’re incapable of appreciating it. That *is* elitist, so grow the fuck up.
