I found one difference between your answer and mine that the difference is very large of 45 to 50 words when you wrote 150 + words, I only able to write for 100 words so how can I improve this?

Hello, I am glad that my videos are helping you. For your question, I believe there are couple of points here. Firstly typing speed. This plays an important role for writing more in less time. Secondly, the content. Remember you can make up things while writing your answer. You don't need to write your actual experience as it is difficult to write so much about something that happened with you rather than making things up. Hope this helps.

Hello, So, the key rule that you need to follow is never take your eyes off screen. You can look at keyboard while typing. But rest of the time you should not look anywhere outside of your screen. Hello, I think there are multiple websites that allow you to study vocab for free. For some reason youtube doesn't allow me to paste the link for it. In my opinion the score if 90-100 is decent. And you can definitely move it to 120 if you make few enhancements to your speaking and writing responses. More linking words, proper structure, less words repeatation and stable speaking speed. I think you can refer to the answers that I have on practice test. Hope this helps.

Hello, I feel 90-100 score is decent and making some changes to the answers can improve your score. Did you try to frame your answers like I do in my practice test? Make use of linking words to form big statements. Make sure you don't repeat the words, instead, you can use synonyms. Hope that helps.

need passport. recently i have given test .practice very well (atleast 115- 130). 2 times came (taken o feb 23, 2024) see image and then write about it. listen then speak (in practice test it cames only one time) but in real 2 times 2 sets of interactive reading and listening. Give your best to speaking (should be relevant) and writing (without spell mistakes) dont look out of the screen. you will face the issue like invalid test, check background apps. notification settings, use only duolingo account). speak confident while seeing the question

Hello, As far as I know, there isn't any change to the format of test. There are few question types that they are testing in practice test, however, they don't appear in actual test. Yes, in order to book test, you need to have an identification document (Passport).

Hello, No, so the score that you get is combination of all 4 sections together. So if you do goo do good in 2 section and bad in next 2 section then your overall score. But that won't be bad overall. It would just be a good rather than a high score. Hope that helps.

Practice will make perfect overtime. For the piece where you are not able to remember big sentences, I will suggest to use bit by bit strategy. Example: for the first attempt try ti hear the first few words, second go for more and third for the entire sentence. And you'll get to know if you are confident to give your exam once you believe in your practice. Hope that helps.

Hello, 105-110 is a decent score. However, score in practice test cannot guarantee you a score in certified test. Score in practice test gives you idea about question types and the kind of performance you need to achieve your desired score.

Hello, To start a certified test, first you'll have to purchase the test on DET website. Following which you'll get the option to either take the test now or you can take it anytime within 21 days of purchase. You should see the option on your dashboard to start the test. To start practice test, you need to go to the Duolingo English Test website and there you'll see the option to practice free. You can click on that and start the pratice test.

Sorry I missed your reply. So once you click on the start test button, Then all the checks will begin. They ask for your identification, your photo will be clicked and you will be shown some rules and then finally your test will begin.

Hello, So, since you gave practice test, do you know which areas are of more concern to you? Rather than looking at the complete picture(whole score). It's better to identify what is the problem area and practice and try to improve there.

Writing and speaking are the two areas where most of the students face problem. For writing, I have 2 suggestions for you. Firstly, try to write more by making up things. Remember you are not expected to write what has happened personally with you as it might be limited. Secondly, try working on your typing speed. DET also marks you based on how much you are able to produce within given time. For speaking, make sure that you are speaking at normal pace without using lots of pauses. And also try to speak as much as possible. Hope this helps.

Hello, No, the follow-up response is not part of certified test. It is just new question type that DET is testing currently, and it might be the part of certified test in future. Currently, you will get only 5-minute writing task in certified test.

I normally recommend to practice untill you reach the low level score close to what you are aiming for. This will help you get an idea on how to perform on your actual test to achieve your desired score.

However your practice test will teach many things to do in the real test. once agian thank you so much . I got a mail from the DET and got 120 overall in this morning.
