Hello everyone, my name is Duong.
I am 32 years old.
I live in a poor mountainous area of Vietnam.
From a young age, I had to work hard to help my parents.
Difficult life is always around, I work and learn everything from my grandparents and the old people in the village.
Gradually, I mastered the skills.
5 years ago, I decided to live the challenge.
Determined to learn about the primitive way of life, I chose to live in the wilderness, alone.
Where there's no technology and forcing yourself to pass, it feels great!

Consider getting the Pillow Cube if you sleep on your side, it will really help, I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in my lower back, I use the Pillow Cube every night and it's one of the reasons I can walk everyday. My wife and I are very happy to see that your are listening to your wife and going to go see the doctor. I have been suffering from lower back pain for the past 20 some odd ears and it SUCKS big time. Every little thing you do will suck, and it will only get worse. So now is the time to get this nipped in the bud, go see the Doctor and listen to what they tell you to do. Right now the best thing you can try is at home soak if you can in a hot bath, or a hot pad on your lower back. Sleep with a pillow between your legs. Try sleeping with your legs propped up in a chair while you sleep on the floor if the pain gets real bad, that would help me out in the beginning if the pain was really bad one day. With some hard work and luck you will be just fine. Good luck with your lower back I know exactly how bad that can hurt, so I feel your pain all to well my friend. I will say a prayer to Odin for your health. My wife and I have been really enjoying watching your wife work on her channel, we both love that she is just as involved with your project as you are

I've been watching your videos for years and am truly amazed at how much you've accomplished! It's truly impressive Duong but I'm not surprised you're having back problems with all of the back-breaking work that you've done up until this point and wish you better health and a speedy recovery. You should also consider getting high quality weather proof shoes with orthopedic support to help support your back. It all starts in the feet!

Getting shoes with orthopedic support is litteraly the worse thing he could do to get rid of the pain. Probably what happen was when he was carrying the large stones form two videos ago it hurted his back, he should've used the wheelbarrow instead.

I have a wife like this. We have been together 47 years and she still works very hard on our homestead. We have the garden, bee hives, chickens, fruit trees and many grape vines. We also have goats for goat hair. We built 3 homesteads during our life together. We grew up in large cities with millions of people. Our parents lived in an urban setting. We had to learn rural living on our own. I wouldn't trade this lifestyle for anyting. It was hard to learn but we had many books to read about it. My back also had occasional very severe pain like a hot knife in my back. It's best to create ways to transport logs etc. for sure it will save your back. I will pray that you heal quickly. An old proverb here: It is good to work hard. It is better to work smart. Carrying logs and large stones needs better carrying tools than your shoulder. I trained a pair of oxen. They were my friends. They enjoyed work. What I thought was hard work they thought what play. :)

Don't lay down. Stay moving. Back pain gets worse as it tightens. It will last longer if left motionless. No lifting just stay limber. Reduce your labor output in the future. Too much physical strain for one man. You're an entrepreneur for many but we understand people have limits. Such a wonderful family you have.

@@PrimitiveSkillsnet I had this happen to me for almost 9 days after I lifted our boat out of mud. I was so stiff I could barely walk. Years later it happened again after lifting a big log. I decided to not lay down from recommendations. My pain only lasted 3 days and it was much easier to use the bathroom and eat during that time since I wasn't so tight. Every situation is different so I wish the best. I have faith it will get better soon. DO NOT GET SURGERY!

You should make a compost pile instead of burning all the kitchen waste.... at least for the plant stuff corn leaves, peanut shells... There are enough greenhouse gases already in the air. (nice compost will help your plants to grow too)
