Yes it really does! It builds on itself really well (this was after several coats) but you can also just do one coat and get a subtle look. I love it!

I own the blush in: Believing, the make me eyebrow with fibers in: Ashy brown. The princes mascara both water proof and regular and also the highlighter and the like swinging waves blue eyeshadow palette 🤣😍🥰 I love essence. It’s affordable and most of the time great formula 👌🏽🎉

These are so good, can't believe how close those blushes are! I really enjoy all of your dupe videos, but I especially love them when it's a brand that's cheaply available here in the UK as well (with most Milani products being $20+ here, sometimes they're more expensive than the product they're duping 😅). I'm glad Essence is a bargain everywhere haha

the same here, The Netherlands can receive the trophy of the worst brand availability. I dream of trying flower beauty, it has arrived here... however, it costs 15 euro for a blush!

Sorry but this trophy goes to Italy: as drugstore makeup in physical retailers we have Essence, something by Catrice, Revolution Beauty, Shaka and Pupa (the last one is technically drugstore but more expensive), plus some other brands I don't like with a very poor range of choices and which I don't buy bc they aren't cruelty-free. I wish Colourpop arrived here, and Flower Beauty as well, and also Elf...ok maybe I'm asking too much but at least something else!

i am in california and I loved that Essence is made in Italy, Luxemborg, Poland so you must be able to get them reasonably cheap over there! Milani has gotten more expensive recently at walgreens/cvs the blush used to be $6 or 7 and I juast paid 12 for the Luminoso compact!

Been getting into makeup lately and have been LOVING Essence! So affordable and incredible products. The brow mascara, Lash Princess, This is Nude lipsticks, and gel eyeliners are my favorites! When I saw the Pure Nude highlighter, it was so pretty but I am a medium-dark gal, so it was way too light for me. I recently picked up a darker shade and it is soooo pretty on my skin! Great video!

The Essence Lash Princess (green bottle) is my holy grail mascara and I've used it exclusively for years. So good!! And I believe it's on sale at Ulta for BOGO 50% off right now!!

Essence's face sponge is amazing, I get it at Ulta. I don't like Elfs or WnWs but that sponge is cut perfectly and has a great density to it.

The Maybelline Lifter glosses duped the Fenty gloss bombs perfectly from what I understand. And they are delicious. Fenty Glow-Topaz and Fussy-Moon.

It's the opposite for the me lash princess doesnt work for me it clumps lashes together and flakes like crazy but the superhero is almost perfect. Crazy how the same product will work so differently on people.

I find the Essence Mascara's all of them are the best I ever used. I also like the Essence eye liner pencils, although the colors are limited, they stay on just as well as the expensive ones I have tried. I am 79 years old, and find their eye products make me look so much younger.

Good afternoon Jen. I recently picked up the Gen Nude blush in Strike a Rose from BM and truth be told, I prefer their Ready Blush in Luminous Rose & Thistle. The original formula lasted much longer on my oily skin where as their new formula is gone within a couple of hours. Why must companies fix things that aren't broken??!! The Ready Blush formula was my very favorite. Thank you so much for doing this dupe video cuz I'm going to to give Essence blush a try. I wonder which shade will be the closest to Strike a Rose? Edit: Don't get me wrong, the Gen Nude blush shades are lovely. I just wish they delivered more longevity.

Loved this video, thank you Jen! Definitely have a few new Essence products added to my list to pick up and try. Wanted to say that I have the Essence highlighter but can’t remember the shade name. Mines a wee bit lighter in shade and I absolutely love it! It’s one of the very first highlighters i ever bought. Over the years I’ve spent way too much money trying way too many different highlighters from every price range only to find that the first highlighter I ever bought, the Essence highlighter, is by far the best out there. It looks gorgeous on any skin type or perceived skin issue. It’s incredibly flattering worn subtly but also can be built up to the point it’s blinding applied with a damp brush. Just wish that I had realized that I already owned the best option years ago and saved myself more money than I’d like to even think about. Thank you again ❤️ from Shannon in Canada 🇨🇦

A trick that I do when using Essenes lash princess mascara is to use elf waterproof mascara as a primer I guess.Just one coat and use lash princess over/on top and Essense las princess does not smudge,at least on me and I am 50☺️Great vlog as usual,thank you for your hard work because of you I’ve tried new brands and I love the dupes and drugstore content.

I love Essence's blush. Its an everyday must have. I've had it for some time now and still have not hit pan despite daily use. It's very pigmented so you dont need a lot of it.

Hi Jen :) I have got a few tips from your Channel, and the Essence products blew me away! I love that foundation and I have some very expensive ones that do not perform as well. I also love the blushes that you recommended. My husband has also complimented me recently when I was wearing Essence makeup, ( and he normally doesnt say much he he). I bought also the Essence Matte bronzer ( it's huge) in light, it pulls a bit warm on me, so best for spring/summer. I really enjoy your channel, only discovered you in the past year and have found your tips spot-on! Ps- I bought that Revolution animal print palette that you recommended, it was in the discount bin for $7.00 and I think it is amazing! The quality, and colours are my cup of tea. :-) :-)

Lash Princess (non waterproof) has been my go-to for years! Also, the Pure Nude is a great stand-in for Hourglass Luminous Light. I don’t support HG, and I was thrilled to find out about Pure Nude a couple years ago.

I'm so glad you confirmed bold is a dupe for pillow talk! I'd seen it in one of those lists that aren't that precise, yet I'd yet to see anyone actually coompare it. I already have bold, so I totally don't need to look at pillow talk anymore! Also the shine glosses, I'd never heard them compared to the gloss bombs, but I'm happy to now see it compared. I have no access to fenty in my country, so I've felt fomo over it for the longest time.

Go to Wilko, they sell them . The problem is since all this madness started they slow down so much to bring new stuff . But even so, you can still find the Essence stand there , I used to go now and then to see if they are bringing new producto . Altogether with Collection and Technic stands . Give it a go. Lots of them are still selling the chrome eyeshadow . Used to be 8 colours if I remeber well but they are discontinuing them , so be quick !.

I love the essence pretty natural, I thought it was going to be one of those breakout cc creams but it worked out perfectly. You are right they are very similar. I couldn’t get a good colour match for me in urban decay so my decision was made for me and saved me money. I didn’t like the Fenty eaze on my skin but mixed half with the essence, such a great finish.

The last time I bought one of those essence chrome eyeshadows they were $4.99! Wow the price did go down to $2.49!! I love the hourglass ones because they last longer on the eyes and are more glittery but they are super expensive but I buy mine at a discount from Mercari or posh sellers. I adore those Essence blushes so much! Also those lip glosses are amazing!
