I am planning to build 2 small rammed earth houses in my farm and invite people to come and stay for a day ,feed the cows , work on the field ,play with the dogs and sit by the river and enjoy the breeze. These houses are going to be surrounded by Kapoor trees which keeps pests away and give a gentle sweet smell and health benefits

Uma Shankar, ofcourse you involved in everything because it's your house. This video doesn't look like it's made to take the idea of mud building to more people, rather it looks like it made to show Uma shankar did it all.

Now a days I am watching how to build mud house video ,this video is really a good one . One want to build such kind of mud house for me .....
@elnosworld98932 жыл бұрын
I love all of the video even though I’m only halfway through and what really stood out to me was the intelligence of this individual through the entire process peppered dominantly to prepare the land prior to ever establishing a foundation to build a home Especially for someone who intends to farm because there’s a lot that happens with soil like erosion depletion lack of nutrients corruption from outside sources that needs to be addressed prior to planting anything Now, based on the source of this comment which is of course your truly, you might think ridiculous comment for a woman of 53 years of age who lives in a car what could she possibly know. Well just remember, some of us are like bamboo plant the seed and you think the seed has failed that it is preparing itself in the underworld within itself to take the world by storm and when it surfaces when it breaks through the soil it begins to climb in reach for the sun and people will think it was a miracle where did this phenomenal plant come from look how strong it is it can be used for everything look how beautiful it is that’s me And those like me, who decide to build their foundation after they prepare their soil which can take a very long time and that is before they ever plant one seed. Your intention in this world in this life is of great importance So make sure you invest in yourself first and then slowly but surely create your masterpiece This is a very beautiful example of someone who did Just that 🙏

Though it is not a new technique, it's just a reinventing older one... But I don't find him installing any pillars at the corners... I've seen old mud houses in my native (western ghats) having built using pillars.. First entire structure was built using pillars, only after pillars and beam installation, walls were built wherever desired.... It's relatively a faster process when compared to the construction method shown in video... Anyway a great job done👌👍

Nice. my house in Karwar is mud house with thickness of walls are one and half feet built in 1937.my suggestion is use of interlocking mud bricks with 10 percent cement which are made by machine .These type of bricks are widely used in Brazil.This way construction is easier and faster.
