I'm loving the progress. I plan to eventually build an LT250R for my wife. Just an FYI, never put tension on the moveable jaw of an adjustable wrench. Always put the load on the fixed jaw. Believe me, it sucks to break one when it's all you have.

Is it the same order for the 1986?

The process is the same but the swing arm is different on that year vs the 87 in this video.
