A treasurer's job is to submit the balance sheet-expenses etc - A treasure cannot ask for documents. It is the duty of general body members to ask for it in any political party of the world, and the treasure has to submit everything before the public and he never did it. Moreover MGR did not have any problem with DMK - but he was facing IT raids during Indira Gandhi rule and he used that opportunity to get rid of DMK to start his own company.
