I just changed my filter and the truck worked for couple of days but today when I had to go to work it wouldn’t start, I primed but I keep pushing the thing but I get no diesel nor bubbles, what could be the reason? The truck has diesel

The issue maybe from the fuel pump, maybe a bad gasket.

Check and make sure you didn’t crack your housing letting air in causing the truck not to start after like 2-3 days. I ran into that issue too

What size wheel/tire combo do you have on this truck?

This was a customers truck but I believe they are 285/75r16.

I did this 13 hours later My engine started running rough then I found out the codes were stored of engine problems and the computer was trying to figuer it out did you exsperience the same thing and have to go to dealer and get the codes cleared...

Make sure and not overtighten the bleeder valve if they are plastic, we broke ours had to put a brass one in

How were you able to loosen the filter so easily. My LML is gelled so I have to take the filter off and I couldn’t loosen it even with a filter wrench.

Whoever put it on last must have over tightened it. But also taking the inner fender well off gives you a littler more room to get a good bite on it.

Yes it will still run. Might throw a cel or fault code. Did you damage it or the wires while removing it?

It’s what the customer brought me. Wix makes the Napa filters and I’ve never had an issue running wix filters.

Because there's no need .... He's touching the outside of the filter and the only thing that looks to be on his hards is oil and diesel. Both of which are fine to be inside a filter.

@@BLUECOLLARGARAGEI’m haveing this same issue. It leaked from the bottom portion and filter itself but then I started it and the leak doesn’t not occur under load or at idle
