The hoses on the Super Tech and the other Blue DEF sold that you didn't mention have terrible hoses. They leak where they're attached to the container. I have since given up filling my DEF tank like you did in this video and use a funnel now. I wish the whoever makes the containers for all DEF manufacturers had a better hose.

I agree, surprisingly, they've actually gotten worse. They worked fine up until about a few years ago but the funnel is the way to go as long as it's clean!

I get mine at the Truck Stop pump.

They are starting to pull it from some of the truck stops in the area, I think it has to do with the urbanization of the area but when im on the road truck stops is the way to go!

All I can recommend is shop around if your going new..... There seems to be no consistency on pricing. Nowadays. Some dealerships are charging boatloads over MSRP and some are below. If you're going on the pre-owned side, I would just make sure you pull the vehicle maintenance records, avoid the ones that have been used and abused. Treat it well and that diesel will outlive the body. I'm about to do a 50k mile drop video on the Duramax. Some good some not so good.

Well actually it's about 10k ish for def in the diesel and about 3800 ish for anything other than def in the def tank. Cool thing is there's a drain on the def tank now ... imagine that...

I just bought my first diesel duramax, how often I have to fill with DEF ? Every time I fill diesel ?

It's going to depend on your load and driving, I just put up a video on this but your looking at 1000 miles with a loaded 20000k trailer or no weight at all 10000 miles just depends on many variables. Always carry a jug with you just in case. For normal driving I just top it off once a month

So there is depending on what model you have but you have to go into the settings in your din and enable it. It's not readily available but easy to activate. It's a few steering wheel controls when it should pop up for you as you use your scroll wheel

Hay My def light says to give it maintenance. I don't need def in it . I've already add it. But it continues to ask for def maintenance N my engine light is one. It's 1500 durmax 22 chevrolet.

Sounds the the infamous bad def quality sensor issue. At the end of the day all def is the same but the code needs to be cleaned. If you have a scanner you can do this or drive it and see if it clears after 100 miles..... If you do end up going to the dealership some of the dealerships will try to talk to you into a super expensive deaf tank drop and clean.... It's a waste of time and money so if they do that find a different dealership. Hope that helps. Keep me posted I also want to add it's a very rare phenomenon for this to happen with these nowadays. This was rampant back in the early days when they first released def on the 2013-14. The def systems now have come a long way and for the most part are very reliable.
