No prying if you do both sides at the same time - the stress point Is the other side being connected. Remove both old ones-flip the bar up and position bushings flip the bar down and install top bushings and bolts. I'm just an old Master Mechanic trying to help out, thanks for the video.

Southwest Florida myself. I've found your channel looking up the installation of the kryptonite sway bar ends. I put the kryptonite control arms on a couple weeks ago. If you haven't put control arms on your truck yet. If you were impressed with the ends. Wait till you get the control arms. 2004 gmc sierra 2500hd 4x4 lb7.

Just loosen both of the stock end-links and they go in super easy. Just did mine in about 30 minutes.

I think the first one would have been easier to install had you cut the passenger side first. At that point, the sway bar would have been able to rotate inside the sway bar bushings instead of trying to twist it (I figured this out the hard way).

Agreed. I am going to be doing this again, but on the paper weight Duramax here soon. I am going to try it that way.

Loved the video! Was wondering if the clevis has to be in a certain position or can it be rotated the other way? Also, how do you correctly measure your old ones to buy new ones? My truck is a 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500hd crew cab classic 4x4 with a 6 inch suspension lift. Hate the end links that were installed with the kit! They loosen and make too much rattle noise in the front end. Anyone's feedback directly to me with help is greatly appreciated.

It can be rotated 180 degrees but not 90 degrees and I’ve only measured bolt hole to bolt hole to be honest. I think when you go to DMAXStore they have all the different lengths for lifted trucks, and I think they also tell you how to measure for it.

Easier if you just leave the truck on the ground. Then theres no tension on the sway bar.

Gotta buy one from down here. I believed “truck master” has a video of his red duramax he gave away , he sand blasted the frame and coated it with something that doesn’t allow rust. I know it’s not easy but it’s almost worth it if you find the right truck. I wish I had an LBZ tho. Those are gold now. Can’t find a clean one anywhere for a good price.

I have the Kryptonite upper control arms, upper and lower ball joints. The sway bar links are also Kryptonite. My lower sway bar end links wore out really quickly. I have another set on order. Have you had any issues with yours?

Gotta make sure you have the gold larger washers on top with the bushings. It’s a common mistake that will damage them very quickly if they still are getting damaged even with those washers maybe get some larger grade 8 ones from your local hardware store. Make sure when you tighten them that they bulge out just a little bit not too much 👍

@@vadrifter3200 no problem, and I do not have that issue. I guess I would make sure you have that clevis ordinated the right way. Possibly also look at if you toed it in too much, and it is putting pressure on the bushing causing it to scrape on the bushing.
