I think he’s saying… I believe you’ll follow me That’s all I need to know… “to walk away” And then it’s I believe you’ll follow me That’s all I need to know… “I’ll walk away” So in the first chorus it’s almost like all 3 lines make the complete thought and then in the second chorus it’s like 2 separate sentences… with the “I’ll walk away” being like a statement. A resolution. Love this video by the way. This has always been one of my fave DD songs and to know someone cares about it as deeply as I do is super cool.

I was JUST thinking, "Man, I went overboard with the detail on that last video," and then I see this comment! Thank You! Faith restored! So you think he's just saying "I'll walk away" both times, essentially?

I had a similar story this summer when I was hiking with a tour guide in Carpathian mountains in Ukraine (!), and I heard on his music box "Pressure off" 😊 Btw, in the same manner as Le Bon sings phrase "..I believe you follow me it's all I need to know..." I compose the solo parts on my synth for my own songs - using major harmony 😉

Excellent instruction as always. I’m really learning a lot about these bass lines from your breakdowns.

Killer, as always! Hey man, Judy curious, do you ever use anything like Izotope etc to isolate bass parts?
@zumazmusic2 ай бұрын
@@JoshGrange Yes! That is exactly what I use to remove/isolate bass. Izotope Music Rebalance. I think I'm a version behind. Ver 10? It's crude in comparison to the spectral stuff, but it's good enough for my needs.
