Wonderful playing! I saw your comment about tuning in Double C, I am new to banjo and slightly confused, you have a Capo on 2nd fret and not on the 5th string? How does that work from the original tuning gDGBD, do you tune up the fifth by hand and end up with aDADE? Or..? And again, great sounding stuff!

Thanks for the compliment! I use railroadspikes for my fifth string. I tune the banjo is doube C (gCGCD) and capo it on the second fret. To compensate I 'spike' the fifth string under the railroadspike on the 7th fret, making it A. You can also tune the fifth string up, but I like this solution as it allows for easy switching.
