In a world where automotive reviewers are a dime a dozen, there exists a man unlike any other-a gentle giant named Jack Singapore. Standing at a colossal 6+ feet tall, with hands that could cradle an entire steering wheel, Jack Singapore has leveraged his extraordinary size and engineering prowess to ascend to the echelons of the world's greatest car reviewers. To say his reviews are unique would be an understatement; they are a delightful blend of playful charm and insightful analysis that leaves car enthusiasts clamoring for more. Jack Singapore's reviews are an amalgamation of meticulous engineering insights and an unquenchable passion for cars. His towering presence provides an almost cinematic quality to his videos, with him effortlessly dwarfing even the most colossal of SUVs. Yet, his gigantic size is not a gimmick; it's a tool he uses to give viewers a unique perspective on every vehicle he reviews. But Jack's engineering acumen shines through as he dissects each car's mechanics with surgical precision. He'll open the hood of a car like a giant discovering a treasure chest, and with an earnest expression, he delves into the mechanical intricacies, explaining dynamic intricacies in a way that makes it accessible to car enthusiasts of all levels. What truly sets Jack Singapore apart, however, is his presence. His reviews are more than just technical breakdowns; they are narratives, each car a character in a larger automotive story. He regales his viewers with tales of the road, weaving a whimsical yarn as he cruises the highways of life, as if he's inviting his audience on a magical journey, where cars become more than just machines-they become companions. Jack's monkey-based catchphrases are legendary in the world of car reviewing. Yet, beneath the larger-than-life persona lies a deep respect for the automotive industry. Jack Singapore takes his role as a reviewer seriously, understanding the impact his words can have on consumers' choices. He tirelessly researches each vehicle, seeking to uncover its strengths and weaknesses, so that his viewers can make informed decisions. In a world where automotive reviewers often blend into a sea of voices, Jack Singapore's towering presence and engineering expertise make him a standout figure. His approach to car reviewing not only entertains but educates, leaving a lasting impression on those who seek his wisdom. Jack Singapore, the gentle giant of car reviewers, has transformed the automotive landscape, one review at a time, and continues to captivate the hearts and minds of car enthusiasts around the world. Out here in the hinterlands, there is nothing but respect. Well Done.

We owned a 2017, and 2019 druango RT. We loved them both. I still think they are the best most "muscular" looking 3 row SUV out there. We loved everything about it. The trans was super quick and it shifted exactly how i wanted it to. It would down shift and engine brake like a boss when towing down hill. It was athletic to drive, it was basic, simple, comfortable yet had apple carplay and a big screen and actual buttons. SO many good things about it. I'd get 500 miles out of a tank with highway driving no problem. LOVED those things.

Amazing review as always, gentlemen. It is truly a special SUV that is one to remember for sure. I couldn't agree more on the comments about Dodge as a brand moving forward. I remember roughly a year ago they were displaying their new EV muscle car, and I heard the fake noise pumped through speakers and just thought it was the most corny thing I've ever seen done to a vehicle since the MTV "Pimp My Ride" days. I'm not sure Dodge will survive as a brand with their already negative public perception. They are replacing what made their cars special with gimmicks, and I don't see it working long term.

We all know the car is heavy on stereotype for, among other things, being one dimensional, i.e. an unsophisticated straight-line burnout machine. Not so. Drove a WB Charger HC for a week including on empty canyon roads. It’s no Lotus, Porsche or even, yes, a ZL1 1LE but it can turn surprisingly well. The 4 cars Chrysler-Dodge are left making are pretty neat in their segments (the Charger 300, Challenger, Durango, and Pacifica. The issue is that all of their budget after Hemi development (which is undoubtedly awesome) goes into special edition paint/vinyl marketing and carbon credits. The Pacifica shouldn't be the most original chassis in their lineup, and yet here we are. Even a few bucks into changing the Chrysler 300's interior to be the "premium" brand they're hoping people think they are instead of a carbon copy of the Charger but with a clock stamped in he dash would have cut down on the jokes. Chrysler - Dodge is just a marketing company.

Regarding the fuel "economy" with this one -- I own a'15 4Runner that I'm very happy with, but I'm lucky if I get 17 mpg. I don't have nearly the power and potential for fun this one has,...it's ridiculously badass, but, that price tag. Lol....

I've had the pleasure of owning one of these since 2021. Love the review and very happy you guys were able to review it again. Launching these turns out to be non-trivial and takes a ton of practice... I've managed 3.4 to 60 (3.23 with rollout subtracted like the magazines do) and 11.5 @ 118mph.. if you don't launch with boost using the torque reserve system you will see 12s every time but when you get it sorted out mid 3s to 60 and high 11s are very repeatable but it took me nearly a year to figure out how to launch it with the best results. 🍻

It really pisses me off as a younger person that my mid life crisis won’t be fulfilled with a loud V8, lord knows how much one of these will cost in 30 years let alone cost to operate, if that’s even allowed.

Dodge is a brand for people that like to drive. They can continue to survive the electric era by being different like they are now. The worse thing they could do is release a blobby electric CUV. Seeing as thier first EV is a big coupe. I think they have the right idea.

On a serious note, Dodge is a company that should be looking at big power hybrid stuff to replace their Hellcat lineup and maintain their novelty that way. Like yall have been saying a lot this year, these commodity EV cars are all gonna be the same. Is anyone even gonna be making hybrids?

One question I've not seen asked by the automotive press or CarTubers is how much of a role CAFE requirements played in Stellantis' decision to sunset Hellcat-equipped models. Unlike GM and Ford, Stellantis markets essentially no efficient models in the US, so its fleet avg fuel economy has to be a lot higher, and as a result those CAFE fines have to be killing them. Edited to add that Jack did mention this a bit obliquely in his final thoughts. Maybe Stellantis could have held on a bit longer, the way Ford and GM are, had they been able to sell some of their more efficient models in North America?
@upshifter5316

Respectfully I think it hasn’t been asked because it’s a bit obvious. If it weren’t for CAFE and other regulations we’d be enjoying the Yell at Your Wife in the Applebees Parking Lot lifestyle for at least a decade to come. Because in a world gone EV it would have been astounding marketing to serve the red-blooded V8 counterculture. Alas regulations make doing that business so crippling that even with huge demand and 6 figure prices for a commodity vehicle Stellantis still didn’t see a path to profitability with all the fines/credits they’d have to pay for. The other big loser here is Tesla who had grown happy and fat on the credits they sold to the Hellcat. Rand.

@@upshifter5316 Yeah I suppose it is obvious. But then again if the media and YTers refrained from reporting on the obvious and only published thoughtful, incisive work, there'd be a lot less content. And to be fair, though it's not a topic I've seen getting very much coverage by automotive entusiast media, a quick search did find a single article by Jalopnik and TFLCar and a few others. There was more attention to the issue in the green and financial segments but even there I'm not seeing a lot, mostly me toos of the same 2021 NHTSA press release.

CAFE requirements are bullshit and have needed to change for a long time. It's the reason why there are no longer anymore smaller trucks available. Because they all would have to return 50mpg. This is a classic example of government setting arbitrary bullshit rules that have no bearing on reality.
