This is completely misleading information. My home being just 500m away from Kumari home and being a Native of Kathmandu (Newar) and belongs to the same community. These 4 things Will said is without any proof. Let me correct this guy now. 1) She is allowed outside on big festivals like Indra Jatra to small ceremonies to ritual ceremonies of their own family rituals. The only thing she is not allowed is to walk on her own foot only outside that kumari house, but allowed to walk, run, play with her siblings, mother, father and even their relatives. 2) Not allowed to see her family? Are you kidding? Her family stays with her in that kumari house. Is this guy for real 😳🙄. 3) She's been seeing her family from Day 1. 4) Answer No. 2 & 3. Being Kumari 1) Government gives allowance to her and her family. 2) free Home schooling with teachers from all faculties that are taught same as other schools 3) allowed to listen to music, dance, sketch, sing but every thing inside that kumari house that you guys went. 4) Special treatment from higher government officials like Presidents, PM, Army Generals, Mayors and Diplomats. 5) Recognition, special treatments, opportunities, and facilities even after dethrone from Kumari after her puberty. Since this video really misleads the viewers and it is of great insult to our Newar Community we will report this Video if you don't correct these wrong information asap. You guys probably have left Nepal 🇳🇵, but if you are still here in Nepal. Come meet me, I will take you to Kumari authorities near Kumari House the one you guys visited and then listen for yourself rather than spreading stupid information. We will post this video on our Newar community, the whole community will report this video. This is serious issue for us.

And offend the other innocent community? What if we say "white western people are destroying beautiful cultures everywhere", wouldn't you feel offended?
