This entire episode is so amazing, especially the halfway point to the very end. The 'escape sequence' is such a tightly-packed, perfectly-paced string of jokes.

I was 19 years old interrailing through Britain with my 16-year old brother and our couchsurfers introduced us to the mighty boosh in Nottingham. Our host was so happy we dug it as hard as her, so she gave us the DVDs. We have watched it so many times... and I have to say that I am surprised how funny they still are to me. This is art- best characters, setting, storytelling,...everything! But these radio series show the base of it all: it is the wirting really. Puns, references, the songs, the invention of the crimp. I feel like this souvenir from Nottingham will be a cherished piece for all my life.

Get the box set on DVD, i have to watch the whole series at least once a year and if i’m ever down i’ll listen to this radio series, never fails to cheer me up. I got into the Boosh when my daughters were young teens and they introduced me and my husband we loved it and went to see them live in London and Brighton.

Ive been a Boosh fan since it aired on Adult Swim. Ive rewatched the show dozens of times and just now am I getting around to the radio show. Hearing it feels like lost media. Like it was recorded but never filmed😢

Brian E. Hanson I listened to them all last week after all these years. Just absolutely sublime. So so funny. I think jungles my favourite episode. Going of track here but there’s a guy at work called Vince who every day I say to him “Vince Noir - Rock n roll star”....think he’s getting a bit fed up of it lol Lastly, thanks for taking the time to upload these to KZbin, I very much appreciated it as I don’t even own a CD player anymore to listen to it.

Yeah I thought so too. I believe he also played Bainbridge in the TV pilot. I would have thought he would be perfect but ultimately the changes they made for TV were for the best. I don’t think he shows up in until the second series.
