I’m retired Air Force living in Maryland. I was born at Lincoln (when it was a hospital) and raised in Durham and I remember a lot of those hoods. Thank you for the video. It brought back some memories.

Those are places i use to play at along time ago Macdougall Terrace Lincoln Apartments Fayetteville Street Apartments Cornwallis Apartments Hoover Road Apartments Few gardens Apartments and back then we never had any shooting and killing oh we fought but we used our hands and got it done and the next day we were friends with bruises and taking about it these places are not like Baltimore or Washington or Philadelphia or New York or Connecticut these are just some of the places that I have family so it's just a way of saying I'm Proud of Durham North Carolina it's my Home Town and It's full of so many Memories not all good and not all Bad Sug Self from Durham North Carolina True Devotion AKA Sugar Bear

The definition of hood is relative, and the video literally starts off in abandoned projects. If you knew what neigborhoods I was driving through and the crime rate in them, you would understand they are hoods.
