Her parents took the right decision marrying her to that person seeing he didn’t have any bad habits , well settled in his reputed job , he also was not violent and never physically abused her Sharawar was mentally and emotionally harassed, not happy with her husband ways of treating her and remembered all his atrocities even than she takes care of him and accomplished her duties and responsibilities very well with grace which made his husband realised of his own that he was wrong but point to be noted that she was not in love with him , she was a woman of few words gracious and carried herself very well , not very close to her husband emotionally , अपने में मस्त, this is the lesson all male should learn ,they may be cared and looked after well by their wives but never be loved and respected if they don’t treat them equally and took them for granted . Mother in law behaviour showed in this serial was also outcome of the situations and experiences of her from life . Sherewar despites bore all atrocities won the heart of all in the family and it was her victory. I felt that the mother was right when she didnt want to get the daughter married off in this family. The father only saw that they were a ‘shareef’ family. And so he had to stick to his decision and guide the daughter to stay in the toxic environment. Not wise but I suppose he feels like there isn’t any other option now. The society needs to explore more options. This is a story that many women in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh face. It’s extremely sad that these women are considered a burden. They are beautiful and intelligent but unfortunately stuck in these vicious cycles.
