This is because when I was a wee lil’ Terraria noob, I always wished there was a quick, simple, and easy-to-follow guide that could solve all my problems! So use this guide whenever you need it!

I would recommend getting the summon from Queen slime first thing in hard; mode it makes fighting the mechs a lot easier

Sanguine staff is way better for mech bosses but Blade staff is a little bit better for everything else but not by much it honestly becomes a situation of which u like more

sanguine staff is obtainable as soon as you get into hardmode edit: vsmpire frog staff is also really really good, obtainable preboss edit 2: if you have the terraprisma, you don't need to "upgrade" to dragon or cell, terraprisma is the best summon

Yeah, but I need at least a xeno staff, spooky armor, a floating mount, and summon damage boosting accessories including the celestial shell for me to have a 50% chance of winning against empress of light in the day. I’d rather just get the stardust dragon staff than get all that.

If anyone wants to rush dreadnautilus in hardmode i would recommend using abigail with firecracker plus spider sentry. Use a arena with block walls so the dreadnautilus minions get stuck and even on master mode it should be okay, just dodge the attacks

Yo dont forget about vampier frog staff and also the obsidian scale armor compared to the bee armor, As a summoner main, the obsidian is better than bee armor

Depends on the target Against Moon Lord Dragon is clearly superior due to high deaggro range and better unattended damage (without whips, as you will have hard time whipping the core)

Softcore Jungle Staff Alternative: Get a bucket or two for some lava by spawn. Then die over and over to collect a bunch of tombstones (10-20 should be enough). Now horizontally place a tombstone once every 20 blocks. This massive graveyard biome will get you Abigail’s Flower stupid fast. I prefer this to grinding the jungle stuff tbh

Am i going crazy, or isnt the flinx staff the absolute best minion summon pre hardmode. Low base damage but it def has the highest dps of any of the pre hardmode weapons.

first of all hornet staff and bee armor is unnecessary, i would say hornet staff is a downgrade to imp stuff which is used for WoF, rush obsidian armor as fast as possible

tip: while you're in the dungeon, get 90 bones and 55 cobwebs and combine them at a crafting bench to get the spinal tap! (im not sure if its hardmode or not)
