Juandre Ferreira fishron is just fast and that’s it you run faster and are capable of dodging with wings you basically can beat it without anything It’s just destroyer part 2 anything can beat it if you are somewhat familiar with dodging on terraria Your fine unless you play on mobile or console since console and mobile are just the worst way to play terraria due to how much terraria relies on you being able to somewhat dodge stuff it’s just so heavily made for keyboard Terrarias movement is somewhat similar to undertale in a lot of aspects

True darkne22 Are you keeping him by the ocean? If he is led away from the ocean, he becomes enraged, attacking and moving faster, along with dealing more damage, but his defense is lowered by 40. I had trouble fighting him before I knew that because I would just fly in a straight line in an attempt to out run him to fight him. I just barely couldn’t with the UFO and swiftness.

It's harder, sure, but definitely doable though. Just need good mobility accessories and practice and you'll defeat Duke Fishron everytime. You don't actually need to focus on damage as dodging is absolute key here. And since hardmode mobility accessories are mostly available pre-mech bosses (though not having the Tabi for the sweet dash may be tough), it's not actually hard to defeat Duke Fishron earlier than usual.

@@lisrandx1270 You don't do early fishron in an OP melee run, you do him between Plantera and Golem when you've got the vampire knives (assuming crimson world, which you should be doing in normal because aside from the brain of confusion vs. worm scarf problem the crimson is better in every way.) Fishron doesn't drop any melee weapons that are strong enough to merit doing him early. However, the flairon is good enough that you should do him at some point. Pre-mech bosses is just stupid because you'd have to fight him with the beam sword and the beam sword is just bad at that tier of combat. The minimum thing you need for him is maybe some light discs, which you need to kill a mech boss to get.

I’m a cool mags trick 1. Give a character the Specter armor with the hood for the HP absorption 2. Make the Celestial cuffs for mana regen on damage and star pick up range 3. Place dungeon spikes and stand on them (because they deal the lowest damage, and your constantly taking damage for the cuffs to kick in) 4. Use Laser Machine gun, as it costs low mana to use, and fires many projectiles at a time You’d basically be unkillable with nearly infinite mana

Hi patykaarp! It's a really good weapon (great for pirates and events). Usually I'd probably use it but because you need a mech boss down to unlock it and I went straight for Fishron I kinda used Razorblade Typhoon and Bubblegun! Thanks for sharing your ideas tho! 🍪

To be fair, Diamond is now much common in 1.4 even before then, Diamond Robe was a luxury that does require some work but you could go by with Emerald/Sapphire instead. Also, I forgot to mention Gem trees are a thing now, so you only need to find one and wait

Mostly, it seems like just the pre-boss sections that are the most out of date, as they all (other than summoner) require mining above your current level with the reaver shark, or getting meteorite, which doesn't happen pre boss anymore.

I found that instead of pairing the wizard hat with the gypsy robe, pairing it with the diamond robe was substantially more powerful because it gave you more mana, so you would deal more damage per full mana bar. For most bosses this also gave weaker mobs time to spawn in so you could kill them for mana stars and never run out of mana.

At 14:57 he gets the "Slayer of Worlds" achievement and how to get it states "defeat every boss in Terraria", yet he hasn't fought every boss which means 1 of 2 things -In every single OP video (or in any video in which he does a play through beating every boss) it didn't count the Wall of Flesh as a boss until this time. OR -you could fight Wall of Flesh more than once and the game counts it a a different boss kill

Tim follows the Sorcerer AI, which means that he can't attack or teleport for a bit after being hit. This is true for most enemies with this AI, like Fire Imps, Dark Casters, and Goblin Sorcerers (necromancers are a notable exception to this rule, since they teleport upon being hit.)

At the moment of the video creation terraspark boots kinda wasn't the thing at all. The max tier flight boots seems was lightning one, which were usually tossed to the trashbin anyway as soon as you got first wings. Ice skates seems were only used for arctic diving gear
