Hello everyone - have 5 (nearly 6) long years of our old double bed - we have finally upgraded to a SUPER king size bed!!
We have decided to take a risk and buy a bed online that we haven't seen in person - does our risk pay off?!
We've bought the Ascot Ottoman Super King Size bed in the colour way Natural.

Hey! Thank you so much for your comment I really appreciate it! How exciting - I am actually so jealous you're just about starting I really do miss that phase (believe it or not!!) The bed is great! It's so sturdy and the ottoman mechanism works really well I have no complaints whatsoever! Are you thinking of ordering one?

I must have missed the bit about the carpet and Velcro. I heard it at the end but do you have any tips? When my bed arrives it’s wil be going on brand new carpet

So the bed requires a bottom sheet which is attached with Velcro, and when we brought the headboard upstairs we leant it at the top of the stairs for a breather and when we pulled the headboard up the Velcro at the bottom had pulled up some of the loop on our loop carpet 😢 it doesn’t look that bad anymore but it’s something to be mindful of, perhaps installing over a rug. If you’ve got a normal pile it should be ok but the Velcro did stick to it and pull up some fibres with it

do you find this frame low? or would it be if your mattress wasnt as thick?

Hi Amy, yes the frame is low I would say - this is exactly what we wanted so that our dog could jump up (he is only small) instead of us having to pull him up and breaking out backs. I would consider it a low bed compared to my divan which was about 60/70cm high with the mattress. I'd say if you're looking for a high bed, this isn't it. Hope that helps! :)

Hi just wondering how long did the delivery take, ordered my bed not heard anything from dusk no delivery date not sure what’s happening. Thanks again x

We ordered the bed on the 26th of dec and it got delivered on the 3rd of Jan. so it was super quick. However, we’ve recently ordered a sofa from dusk and it was 2 weeks late from the 10 weeks we’d already waited (this was expected) and we didn’t have any communication about the delay until we rang their support line which we found the number on Facebook so have a look if you can find it. But it did arrive in the end and they said they had a big system error which pushed back all their deliveries! Good luck it hopefully will arrive soon 🤞🏼

Hi - how long did it take your bed to be delivered since placing your order? We ordered the exact same bed a couple of weeks ago but still haven't had an email to say it's been dispatched yet :( I'm excited for it to come though, yours looks gorgeous! We have ordered the same bed and mattress!

Our bed came very quickly but this was back end of dec and January. We’ve recently ordered the sofa which I’ve done a video on as well and it was delayed. Dusk have since put out a post on Instagram saying they’ve had system problems that are delaying things and when we phoned them it’s what the also said on the phone. Then 2 weeks later after phoning their customer service department the sofa arrived

Hello, so far our bed has been very sturdy and totally reliable. The delivery we had for the bed was really quick. Within 3 days. Our sofa from them took about 6 weeks. Definitely happy with it 7 months on 😊

The video is too Fast people can't follow the Procedures and it is really not helping if someone wants to follow procedures Setting this up not Good

Hi sorry about this. This video was intended to be a vlog style review of the bed itself rather than instruction manual. Apologies for that. I found the instructions to be quite easy to follow - and as I say in the video, it did take 2 hours. Good luck with your bed.
