Brandy, this video is so telling of your design style and must haves, and I'm here for it. I despise tags and always tuck, hide or snip the tags if I can. I know for some making up their bed is not a priority. For me, it's part of my morning routine. There's nothing like making up your bed, giving your love nest that beautiful, cozy, serene finish, fluffing your pillows and duvet (yes I'm all for duvets that button preferably). Love the tips you've shared. Btw Friend, your eyebrows, blush and makeup looks gorgeous. I've worked in the beauty industry for many years and as a makeup artist your look is stunning. Happy Sunday 🤗🫶🛏

Girl when I saw you with that iron I screamed "No"!. Cause now I know it makes a huge difference & I won't be able to sleep until I iron my sheets. I'm OCD like that.

(For those who don’t like long stories, you can skip this comment.) I loved every minute of your video. My mother was a stay at home wife, mother & homemaker in Texas back in the 50’s. She hung our white cotton sheets out on a line in the backyard to dry in the sun. They smelled so good! I remember watching her on ironing day. She’d first “sprinkle” the sheets and pillowcases with cold water from a bottle with holes in the rubber stopper she kept in the refrigerator . She’d fold the sheets into quarters and when the iron was ready, she’d press each section until it was smooth. Then she’d bear down hard on the top edge of the top sheet to make sure it was crisp and wrinkle free. I thought they looked beautiful! When I was old enough to help, she first taught me how to handle the iron by ironing my daddy’s cotton handkerchiefs. Then she taught me to iron the pillow cases just as she did the sheets, finishing with the edges, making sure they were crisp and wrinkle-free. What a happy memory. I hadn’t thought of that in years. The sheets and pillowcases I prefer these days are soft and wrinkle free when they come out of the dryer. But on my next laundry day, I just may spritz my pillowcases with a light spray starch and press them for that special crisp finish! And if I’m still inspired after that, I may do the same with the top edge of my flat sheet.😉 Sweet dreams, y’all!

Double stuff the duvet if you can stand the heat. So fluffy and luxurious ! Also, If you like a tucked bed they make king flat plastic bed tuckers that save you energy and time and get a really tight blanket. ALWAYS love every video. You are my absolute favorite now! I get so excited every time I see a new video.

Hi Brandy! What are your thoughts on textured duvets? I currently have a standard smooth white cotton one for my down comforter but I’ve been considering purchasing something with more texture for the winter, like perhaps a waffle weave? But idk if that’s a good move.
@BrandyJackson11 ай бұрын
I think the smooth is more timeless , you can always add a waffle throw at the end of the bed but I also think it’s fun to play! You can always switch it back! Never a bad move to build a collection, even with your bedding! 🤗

Hi Brandy! I am obsessed with making a luxurious bed! I have a pillow & throw blanket obsession! Right now I am trying to save up to buy a boucle bed frame to finish the look I am going for. Tags drive me nuts too! Lol! It immediately takes away from the overall aesthetic, so I understand your pet peave. Great video once again!❤

I love your videos!!! What do you do if your bed base is not very aesthetically pleasing?Which type of bedskirt would you recommend? I’ve got an oversized king comforter to ensure the comforter is falling over the bed nicely, but I have mixed feeling on a slit bedskirt or pleated bedskirt as well as being white or linen. Thoughts?

Brandy, I’m a nurse and my bed has to be tight and right! Corners have to be right angles and tucked tightly. The bottom sheet must be smooth and tightened .. who wants to sleep on wrinkles? I haven’t ironed a sheet in many moons, but if it makes one feel good, go for it! Love your videos and keep on giving us new ideas!

One trick to make your duvet look fluffy is to use a king comforter in a queen duvet. I saw this recently in a YT video. I like the tidier look. I hate the look of a throw tossed on a nicely made bed. Yup OCD. Why go to all that effort only to add a little sloppy at the end?
@memphis237511 ай бұрын
Brandy! If there’s one pet peeve it’s the tag on everything!! Why must we have ugly tags? 😅 Love your layers there just so good!! Beautiful! 😊

Brandy, you're a natural beauty. The thick eyebrows and lots of blush takes away from your natural beauty instead of complementing you. Go lighter on your eyebrows and blush or don't use blush at all.

To: user sp-he, she, them,In all fairness to Brandy..I would suggest they you send Brandy a video or photo of you so Zack & Brandy can critique you…your eyebrows,blush,hair,nose, ears..etc and post it & give us their opinion on you. That’ll be a great video to watch. Fair is fair.! 😊 To: Brandy, great video today! The bed looks beautiful. You look beautiful as always! 💯🥰

@@mimiv8766 I spoke the truth. Is Brandy a natural beauty? Yes. Is her blush & brow make-up off? Yes. Did I critique her physical features? No. I literally said Brandy is a natural beauty. Her eyebrows, ears, nose, etc are naturally beautiful. For the record, I appreciate positive criticism. Am not perfect and am not going to be immature as you are about being corrected on anything, whether that's make-up, interior design or anything else. It's how we learn and grow. You're offended by the truth which is weird. Have a great week 😊 👋🏾.

I love a fresh made bed. But I have never ironed my sheets. I hardly ever make my bed. I sleep late. And my husband always goes in after I get up to lay down. So if I do make it. He just messes it up. I used to make my bed. But I only make it if we have company. Plus, we have three dogs who sleep with us. I’m going to buy them some new beds. And I’m hoping they sleep on them. Because by the time I go to bed. There’s no room for me. And two of the dogs are around ten pounds. But they can take up some space. Plus when I make the bed and tuck in the sheets. The first thing my husband does is pull the sheets out, he hates them tucked in. So I just gave up. And he hates a lot of pillows on our bed. He’s no fun at all. We have a cedar chest at the foot of our bed. And that’s where the pillows go. I can make my bed like that. But I will still only do it if we have someone coming over. I have a lot of new bedding to put on my bed. I just haven’t done it yet. It’s neutral. I’ve had some burnt orange on our bed. Because I live in Georgia and if the dogs get mud on the bed you don’t see it.
