To anybody who is new to Anne Lamott, check out her book/guide to writing, Bird by Bird. It is among the most profound tools for self-discovery and creative development. Even if you don’t think of yourself as a writer, use it to guide your journaling efforts or to take up the practice. It will change you, and Lamott is a patient and insightful guide through the process. Great episode!

Marianne, you are yearning for the Conversion of Consciousness... and we are in that evolutionary process, but it is darkest before the Dawn.🙏🏼💗

I'm only 15 minutes in, but I'm connecting to this woman in so many ways. My husband and I met on Match.com also. He had never been married before, and he sold everything he owned and moved here from the UK to be a family with me and our three (now grown) kids. They adore their step-dad. We've been happily partnered since 2009 (except he's the cat fanatic; I love all animals). We have two cats and a dog. We also have a multi-generational household. Wish I could talk to her one on one!

Great conversation, great women! It was helpful for me to watch Marianne stay in connection even tho in disagreement (in re to Dems), as Im finding myself having to practice this. Staying in truth and expression with grace, and speaking up every time something is vital.

Many who are leaving will reincarnate! There is no sting in death! This does not minimize the sorrow we feel. Many will begin to live longer as we continue to shift.

I just found Anne via a Ted Talk on a Delta flight. I've followed Marianne since Return to Love. Even went weekly to the Saban. I'm stunned that two "spiritual gurus" suffer from Trump derangement syndrome. You said some good things, but also sweeping characterizations of the "Trump" years because of the group think of the left. How is it that I am a gay man diagnosed with AIDS and have been able to get over my TDS and have clarity. Trump was awful. But he was also distorted by the media and leftist fundraising organizations. He kept us out of war. We now have an animated corpse leading the country. OMG, Anne just said the poor are getting more help from Biden. He could not help them enough to offset the damage he's done. Shocked at both of your perceptions. Frankly, you're both hypocrites. There are many gays, Blacks, Hispanics, Asians leaving the left because they lost their way. I voted straight D until Hilary lost in 2016 when I stayed in three days in bed of sorrow. But, I woke up. Trump is also a child of God. Look at him through those eyes (it's tough). I'm still not a Trump supporter, but please stop hanging on to the caricature of him and look forward. He's gone hopefully, but who is going to create a more loving world? Certainly not you people with TDS. If you believe Biden united anyone you're delusional. He's pulled people like me away from the left en masse. Start living by your own philosophies and don't look at this one man you hate as the problem. He was a symptom of something much more terrible. The new Democrats have stolen my faith. It was starting to return and then I hear you two, the gurus I need to help lead me to safety, and I know you are merely the weakest of humans because you are so easily led. Luckily, I have the 23rd Psalm.

I am 25 years old and I hate that I keep counting my age. I am scared of aging I know I shouldn't be but in the gay community youth is worshiped. every year that goes by I feel like I am getting uglier and less lovable. horrible thoughts to have .
