what do you do with 4 inch hose that is a real pain trying to put on the plastic pipe. I just got a new 10 foot anti-static hose and just couldn't put it in my Jet dust collector. Please help.

If it's something that's designed to fit, I'd just warm the hose with a heat gun, and use some lubrication to slide the hose on the fitting. Soapy water or Simple Green cleaner works. If it's not designed to go together that way (like how woodworkers use PVC pipe instead of DC fittings) it way need a customized adapter. Best to you.
