I forgor everyone's names except for Starlo and Ed. I'll just list them left to right. Starlo: Literally McCree from Overwatch (It's high noon), basically a one-shot attack that'll be hard to dodge, but you only have to do it once. The card guy: Turns the game into Touhou for a moment, throwing cards like bullet hell. Not much opportunity to dodge, you have to do it a lot, but I-Frames exist. The look-a-like guy: He drowns you. That's allm Ed: He goes for a Heavenly Ed Buster. "He made pickpocket all week!" Squirel: "I'LL TAKE *YOUR* CRYPTO TO THE AFTERLIFE!" Basically steals your shit and *dies*.

personally, each final attack should give a permament debuff til the end of the run making zenith martlet harder, for example mooch steals your item button and then lets you kill her removing option to heal for the rest of the run moray could give you bleed effect when damaged from other monsters, similarly to sans fight ed could slow your soul permamently, but you gain early access to dodging attacks with x ace could make the enemy attack deal either half of the damage to triple the damage based on rng, basically random damage every time and starlo permamently takes your hp away

@@aprilvee9154In-game, when the gang lists off what FEISTY stands for, Starlo adds "Justice" to the end, before realizing there's no "j" in the word, so he quickly covers with "the J is silent", as a one-off gag. In this, each member has particular instruments that disappear from the mix as they're killed, followed by the flavor text "The ___ is silent". Starlo's got the "cowboy whistling", which may or may not be himself doing said whistling. Since _he's_ technically the instrument in question, it instead twists the "j is silent" joke into a bit of morbid humor. (That's also why he dies first in the video, bc I felt like it could only have the right amount of silliness if it was relatively early.)

This is really cool! I feel like Starlo and his gang really got shafted in the Genocide run. I feel what should've happened was, when you enter the town, this fight happens (they're all unsparable btw), Ceroba sees it and runs towards her house. You follow her, and then you see her handing the blue soul serum to Martlet. Martlet flies away as Ceroba's Geno fight starts. This way, all three get their time to shine, AND you to get see how Martlet got the serum. Edit: forgot that Martlet took the Determination serum the True Lab, not Chujin's Blue Soul serum. Whoops.

To add onto this: -All five fight at once(in groups of two each turn), but until a certain point in the fight, Starlo can't be targeted(being greyed out in the back taking potshots until his time comes) -Every time a member of the Feisty Four dies, the remaining member's attacks get upgraded further(With a little Q(Queen), K(King), or A(Ace) appearing next to their card suit when its' their turn -When the last member of the four has low HP, they perform a desperation move that happens to be a WAY harder version of their signature moves from the pacifist/neutral route. -Every so often Starlo performs a combo attack with another member, or does an attack of his own. -Once ANY member reaches low HP, Starlo calls off the battle temporarily, not wanting to see his friends hurt any further, and tries to spare you. -If you spare him, all of them gang up on you and knock you down to 1 HP, before leaving you in the jailhouse while evacuating everyone else from the Wild East(I imagine Flowey would break you out of the cell, with things reverting into the neutral route, with the main difference being that the Wild East and the rest of the Dunes is still abandoned) -If you attack him, you deal a TON of damage(not enough to be fatal, but still instantly knocking him down to half-health, showing how Starlo didn't let his guard down enough for it to be a betrayal kill, but it still caught him off-guard), which leads into him deciding to settle things in a showdown just like in the original encounter...playing out pretty much exactly the same too, before the fight with the FF finally resumes. -If you choose to kill them all and then go neutral during the Steamworks, the normal "dead Starlo" attack Flowey uses is replaced with "Starlo" doing a combo attack with the Feisty Four(with what member it is specifically glitching around rapidly, changing the attack type constantly for it's duration)

Starlo tho, because of his fantasy's, he wants to actually save everyone, so he stays in the wild east to make an attempt, but, he doesnt have the courage to ACTUALLY kill someone (on his boss fight he is emotional and put to test about his fantasy and beliefs.)

Yeah, that's the idea! I liked how Deal 'Em Out had additional percussion added to the track depending on who was at the front, so I decided to sorta reverse that idea here -- even though not all five are actively in front in the (hypothetical) fight, they still play a part as long as they're alive. (Speaking of "progression", I left Moray's acoustic guitar as the second-to-last instrument because that's where the Enemy Retreating chord progression is most noticeable 😉)

To be fair to the Feisty Five, the Wild East is basically a Disney world equivalent to a Wild West town. It's all just show, no actual substance. They may look formidable in pacifist but in the end, they're just roleplayers. Starlo would most likely have evacuated the entire town except for himself since he's always the dramatic showman at heart. I do agree that a fight with them would be hype but story-wise it just wouldn't make sense unless they all ran into town after Clover already dealt with Starlo.

I accidentally got spoiled while I was still in Snowdin genocide that "in genocide Starlo dies from the duel" and I thought "Ahh so for a small portion of the wild East the characters don't know that you're homicidal and when the duel happens you secretly use the wild revolver and not the BB gun." My sibling stated that they dislike the fact that Ceroba was effectively the "Undyne the Undying equivalent" because she already got a pacifist fight and they wished that Starlo got that role instead. I'm not sure how I feel about that(Martlet gets three fights, one of which a two-phased final boss) but if he was killed in like just a SLIGHTLY more interesting way That would've been nice.

Although I don’t agree with your sister, I still wished starlo got a mini fight. But remember, all that cowboy stuff was still a fantasy. Which is why Starlo only used a BB gun during the actual genocide duel (you can find out if you let starlo shoot you, letting him live his fantasy one last time). But ceroba is still fair to be the “undyne the undying” cause she’s already more powerful, and similar to undyne has the actual will to kill you

The definition of a dust devil is "a small whirlwind or air vortex over land, visible as a column of dust and debris" and this perfectly fits in with the wild west sandy dunes area! as much as i loved the fact you fight the final pacifist boss way earlier in no mercy, i DO think it would be way better if everything was the same but instead of starlo getting one-shot ceroba instead jumps infront of the shot. like the powerful pacifist end boss ends up getting one-shot and you have to fight all of the feisty five at the same time, and additionally get to see that powerful attack starlo interrupts during pacifist and neutral. like we never get to see what that looked like, and imo it's what i was expecting during no mercy since it seemed like an obvious hint imo. tldr; ceroba is just as cool as a sort of less powerful version of her but like... idk her dying immediately instead and fighting all of the feisty five would have been so much cooler. like it felt like they were hinting at that with the fact that Ed gets interrupted by starlo before he can do a supposedly difficult attack lol. the fact that they're just absent in no mercy is a little weird.

I get why they didn't want to have a multi-fight, but it would have been really interesting. Undertale/Deltarune (and fan fights in general) rarely ever use more than two in a fight outside of regular monsters - and this would have been the perfect time to showcase this. UTY already demonstrated that they were willing to give combination attacks in the Pacifist/Neutral route, so having them show up in Geno as at least a brief distraction before Starlo/Ceroba would have been interesting to see.

I have this amazing idea for an alternate Wild East fight. Starlo doesn't die in the dual, so you fight both him and Ceroba in Phase 1. Because Starlo was heavily damaged in the dual, Ceroba protects him with a shield so you need to drain her health first. Once you kill her, Starlo will embrace her one last time before kneeling on the ground, crying. You're open to take the final shot and finish him off. But then, suddenly, Ace summons a card and deflects the bullet away from Starlo. Him and the others come on screen and they tell Starlo that they've come to help apprtake down the Dust Devil. With his posse by his side, Starlo is revitalised. He gets up, stares at you with cold eyes filled with anger and hatred as his posse stand around him. Then, Phase 2 begins.

This would be such an awesome boss fight. I imagine that the fight would involve taking down each member one by one, with the player being free to choose who to shoot at first. The Feisty Four's dialogue and attack patterns could change as the fight goes, with their attacks becoming increasingly more difficult and harder to dodge depending on how many other members of the group are dead. This could introduce varying strategies, where players have to decide what order to take the group down based on what attack patterns they find easier to dodge/memorize. Starlo should always be the last to go down. The player can begin lowering his HP from the start, but when his HP hits a certain threshold the members of the group will start taking hits for him, forcing you to target them instead and take them down before finishing Starlo off. Sucks the actual genocide route does them a huge disservice. There was such huge potential to have an epic battle against them. Plus, it'd be just like an Undyne the Undying style fight, where the true heroes come in to face off against you, so it would fit as a mid boss much better than what we got with Ceroba.

i feel like north star would always be the second to last to die and ed would always be the last to die for a few reasons 1. to me it doesn't seem in character for north star to allow ed to die after three other members of the feisty five died 2. it would be a reference to the trolley problem task with the options being ed or everyone else 3. at the very end of the normal feisty four fight ed mentions a strongest attack which he never gets to use 4. ed's the most important of the feisty four (other than north star) with him being the first and last seen in the feisty four battle while having the hardest to dodge attacks, being the first to resign, being the one to get the rest in the feisty four battle to do team attacks, and not being put with the rest in the trolley problem 5. i had another reason but i forgot it

The fact that you never get to fight and kill the feisty five no matter what route you take is even worse than the fact that you can't kill that annoying hat from ts!underswap. The entire time I was going through this area on pacifist, I was imagining what kind of cool scenarios I might see if I take a more antagonistic path. Turns out it never changes unless you go full genocide, in which case the whole area is skipped, and you have to do another Ceroba fight. I have nothing against Ceroba, but why make us fight her twice? Hopefully someone makes a playable fight for it soon, I'd love to see that, ideally as a mod/add-on for uty so I can play it in the right context.

I think it would be cool if your rampage gave them the resolve to fight for real. After all they certainly put in the practice and even holding back they have some pretty decent attacks. However, it just wouldn’t fit with the game themes. It’s not Justice to fight innocents who would never attempt to kill someone. As Starlo says Clover has a method. The only counter argument I can see is well the feisty five do attack you in the neutral/pacifist rout, but it’s just Starlo who tries to kill you.

However, even from that point of view the feisty five aren’t those clover is seeking revenge on. As Starlo points out he only attacks monsters who attack him first with the exception of Martlet who Clover is conflicted enough to let go until she finally attacks first. He seeking justice for the unjust treatment of innocent humans who feel down and were attacked and killed. Most would describe that Justice as twisted and morally wrong (I’m inclined to agree) but it’s a thin line between murder, war, and rebellion.

I don't think Ceroba fits into the game because she feels like a steriotipical fangame character, in a game that otherwise feels like Undertale. For an examle of this being done well-Sans gets very close to being too edgy, but because of Sans' writing he stays in the safe zone of being cool and not overly edgy. This line of being cool and overly edgy is in a different place for different people, you may think Ceroba is too edgy, but you might think she's fine. It's just my opinion. Some people don't even like Sans for being too edgy but that's their opinion.
