Salute, Nah, that thing was a beast with a life of it's own. Ain't any coincidence can explain why it would just sorta randomly saunter on over that flood wall and hang out until, perhaps it noticed your motions 2hen you stood up to bail out, but chose to sprint at your camera instead.... unless it had it's eye on you from the very start! waterspouts only form from thunderstorms, parent thunderstorms. similar to a dust devil but a bit different

You did not have to run to your car, you should have grabbed anything valuable very quickly and stepped away from the river, those Dust Devils are not that dangerous at least that one is not.
