Wow! What a special episode this was. Sonia sounded like me...being anxious and worried about the unknown. But an interesting tour/journey you both took us on. The sights amazing to see and so enjoyed the scenery. The Shipwreck Museum was awesome! The antique furniture, out of this world! Thank you soooo much for taking us on the journey and adventure with you both in your "Quid" PS...your commentary....baie lekker. Mooi loop!

Another great video in your series. You're like the Elon Musk of Kwids, you could start a following deluxe. Renault should really sponsor your travels and videos. On a more sombre note, that memorial garden should be dedicated & renamed to honour Anene Booysen who unfortunately suffered a brutal & horrific death in Bredasdorp. That once small town is really growing and will soon be a city should it be able to attract investment

It is really a bustling place, much busier than we ever expected. We only learnt later that the Heuningberg road isn't open to the public and therefore not maintained. It was our third trip in a Kwid and it continues to surprise us time after time. The Anene Booysen story is indeed very tragic and something Bredasdorp will forever be associated with. Thank you for watching, we so appreciate it.

No, here I was also nervous when you drove into that reserve onto that narrow road 😬 but the beach / harbour is absolutely beautiful. Reminds me somewhat of the small towns around UK. 🤗

Thank you for the episode and the museum. It made me google "SS Waratah"... and wow what an interesting rabbithole that was. Fascinating, though also very sad.

You're so welcome. 👍🏻 To me, the entire concept of a shipwreck museum in a non-coastal town, was just too intriguing to miss out on. It's always good to hear that our viewers find little nuggets of info they wish to do more research about. ⛵📚

We visited the shipwreck museum probably 15 years ago. Was amazing. What camera are you using?

I also rather enjoyed the museum.👌🏻🚢 I always film with my everyday cellphone, which was a Samsung A50 back then. I upgraded to a Samsung S22 Ultra about seven months ago and use it now.

You guys saved others from trying that Bredasdorp nature reserve road, so hopefully someone from the town will mention it to the municipality for attention.😱

It was super exciting! 😝 We learnt later that the road is really only for cyclists and hikers and of course for the municipal vehicles to go up to the town reservoir. Not meant for normal vehicles apparently. 😁🚗

Found this video special, bc my family was part of all of this. That big house at the top was my great great grandfather's, he built it and my great great grandmother planted that big tree in the garden. That church my family has gone to for years. The shipwreck museum used to be the pastor's house and that garden was shared between my great great grandfather's farm and the pastor's garden. My great great great grandfather actually has something in the museum with his name on it. So there's a bit of it's history... (18:19 arpund that area) In terms of arniston my great great grandfather owned land right before you reach romans beach... So all that land from when you turn off the road with all the cottages. Eventually though when he was very old he sold the land to Robert's grandfather. Yeah and if you go around the corner at the man beach on the rock pool's if you look up you can see one of my family members plark... It took ages to build. Last thing is there's a street name Huxam street :) my family's surname. Anyways, this was some information I thought you may find interesting

Wow, thank you for the amazing info, it's all so interesting that I read it over and over again to make sure I take it all in. I loved our visit to Bredasdorp and the museum, it was really interesting and there was just so much history around, which you coloured in much more now. I truly appreciate that! We will certainly look for some of the spots you mentioned when we visit the area again. 🤩🚗

Thank you for taking the time and energy to pen down your stern reprimand, complete with exclamation mark. It has been noted! Next time when you see me opening and closing countless farm and other gates, up to 20 in one episode, do the same! 🚙😁
