I stay away from china wall bases and never done one for the upkeep cost but you made cost to performance/upkeep insanely balanced. Epic work, great base and hope to see more like it. And I found a work around/s for the gate problem, now we need just 2 more large furnaces.

​@@kuroudo2494 Look at 24:57 the best way for me is to leave 2 or all 4 square foundations for the gap and the first door frame attached to them wood (only the 1 level frame the other need to be metal) so you can burn them and rebuild the gate/gate airlock/peaks. When the square and the frame is destroyed you only loose a roof tile on top of the peaks. Look at sanctuary code INKHHZ to see how I made it, you can also extend the china wall to place up to 6 large furnaces sanctuary code PF4MFW.

@@unfalr Did you have any problems with the non-overlapping TCs? Can't place TC in a authorized zone at 4 squares and a triangle out. It would have to be 5 squares then a triangle.

@@trevorhovis5329 If you follow the steps in the video there is no problem whit placement of TCs. What I found is that the 2 TCs in front of the gates are problematic after a raid or in some cases they self destroy do to the overlapping. The way to replace them if they are destroyed is to disconnect the external TCs and destroy the main TC, so to space them out more is a good way to save yourself some problems.

Dust, on the roof, on the turret place, you can put 1 windmill in every one to free space at the center. More turrets for protect the compound or put 2 sams. The base is nice, I gonna try it the next wipe. tyvm!

You just earned a subscriber and a like. I have 2k hours on rust and NEVER EVER have I seen an amazing base like this. I built this as an duo on a 2x server. It's cheap and has the best protection against raids and door campers. I got raided with this base and it ended before it even started I just shot at them and move up on the gate on the china walls and through the windows in the locker room under the china wall. I can just peek anywhere and the raiders won't expect my next peek.

Nice base as always, but idk if you guys have the same feeling but i'd like to learn the why of the things, for example why sometimes you can overlap building parts and sometimes you can't? how can u understand the going with triangles and then returning with squares to measure the distance for the externals TCs? ok its great to learn some bases, but the knowledge of WHY, how the system works, that info is too hard to find out there.

Then just build, hop on creative servers and start to put together different things from different bases and eventually you’ll get hang of it and learn to apply them in your own builds.

I really like this base design. Tutorial was really easy to follow and I built the base first try. I have learned how to build this base fully without YT and made own adjustments to it. Soo im going to use this base design on all of my wipes. Tip: I recommend adding one more windmill on the top for extra turret defense or sam sites (one windmill for each baterry). Overall really good design and cheap to do and easy to defend. Loot is also hard to find even if you know the layout of the base, since theres a lot of storage rooms to put it all in + vending machine bunkers on the top. Thanks a lot for this design!

To get to the point tho i just replaced the foundations that connected the china wall and upgraded them to wood, same with the 2 triangle raised foundations on either side of the base. Then when rest of base complete shop em out.

Base looks awesome, watched a different guy building a quad team base, he was building so fast that even on 0.25× playback speed I couldn't keep up. Got 4 hours into building it and some douchebags raided what little loot I had an hit it with an MLRS strike just to be assholes. But this base I think my buddy and I can build this quickly on the upcoming wipe!

Love this base design! I tweaked it a little bit though. So instead of two solid walls on each side of the Stone gate to hide the ugly part, I put a door frame and a double door with 3 shotgun traps in each and then a solid wall on top. (mind you the shotgun traps can shoot through the doors if placed far enough forward) The double doors can also be used as a 2nd airlock incase they blow through the stone gate only if a triangle platform is placed right above it. Can't be laddered or boosted into the compound.

My friends and I just successfully fought off a online raid against door hackers. I was about to go to bed and one of my friends got on and called me saying "I think someone's rading us." Takes a few tries but the freehand building part is possible on console! If you arent completely confident in the spacing, later on when you add the stone gates dont push them as far into the walls and you should be fine to build the airlock peaks.

This doesn't have inner peeks, but has more bedrooms, loot space, etc. and is quite a bit more defendable IMO. The Shadow has bunkers and inner peeks.

@@ForSakeSin everything decays when I build it bro is it server dependent? Nothing he built after the main base and externals stood for me it decays. For some reason anything that touches the tip of the triangles doesn’t get coverage and decays. I’m on PC. Console i had no problem with that

I'm using this base this wipe. I found a perfect spot on top of a mountain, that not only lets me use this base, but also had the perfect dip for me to hide the TC and 2 large boxes, as well as a pixel gap with 2 more large boxes and a small box. It might not be the most offline proof base, but it looks cool, and unless they're planning to foundation wipe me, the best loot will be completely unreachable. I still did the vending machine bunkers on the roof, but I only use them for trading, they're just decoys overnight lol.

Hey Dust love the base man, got it memorised now! Just built it for the second time and i added Gamelightz styled offset bunker to the TC compartment, allowing you to upgrade it to armoured for a 15 rocket raid per TC cabinet!

There's actually plenty of room for furnaces. You can place 5 small furnaces in each of the areas in-between the bedrooms on the China wall. You can also still place a turret in front of the furnaces as well. And you can also fit 2 oil refineries near the gates and have plenty of mobility around them. Maybe you should consider changing things up a bit instead of copying exactly how someone else builds it. No offense but just become a little more flexible in your builds that's all. @@the_strop_7945 yeah ain't nothing wrong with that. I've actually built the base quite a few times and use it alot during my wipes but I've modified it so much now. Added prison cell walls and gates to all the outside wall frames to add strength to the base. It made it way stronger than it already was. Also I build it in full sheet metal. No stone. So sheet metal and HQM only

i seldom like a base but i would say it's pretty nice very functional. a reference to what i like is Titan X 3x3, Alamo 2x2, freak circular base. I have learned how to make wide gaps for all 3 designs and option to add china wall to each. you can even add pixel gaps to your bottom floor to hide loots. all in all very well thought out design. a good pvp base. only thing too easy to offline
